I made mix tapes from when I was about 12 or 13 in 1978 through to about 1995. I was going through my old stuff & thought they would look good in phone cases or other stuff on Redbubble & Zazzle. So I photographed them & have started putting them online. Shazam came to the rescue. I imagined trying to tell my teenage self that over 30 years later I would be playing those same tapes, holding a mobile phone to the speaker so an app called Shazam would magically tell me what the song was! Shazam was the magic of two rings being put together in The Arabian Knights cartoon back then, mobiles & internet not invented. Tomorrow’s World eat your heart out!
