The lack of bobby once again has me mad, and it did put a dark cloud over the episode (before you come for me let me explain). The episode was great angela and pepi's acting was phenomenal but in an episode where the synopsis specifically said "Athena will be forced to confront what it means to live without bobby" it wasnt really about bobby. Like if you had given me this episode back when we were doing the emmett storyline it would of been great but we're past emmett I don't know why the episode focused more on her Grief for emmett than it did bobby.

Though there was a few things I was reminded that could actually very much lead to a bobby alive reveal

●Wheres athenas being in denial about his death coming from because she's moved on

●using their first date as the only flashback Symbolise how their story isn't finished

●the color difference between the flashbacks could possibly be a hint that the light is still alive

●the overuse of hope: reminding the audience to always have hope?

●lack of bobby flashbacks because he's actually alive and all the Flashbacks would have actually made his death feel real

●no bobby hallucination talking to athena

●the white flash this one's a bit idk how it ties in perfectly but like it's kinda weird we got a white flash and then suddenly their all home

For me a big indicator that he's still alive is once again 911 proved they can write really good episodes when they want to

I think we can all admit the episodes surrounding bobby his death and his funeral were terrible and it's no way you write a MCD (YOUR FIRST) or their funeral. Like how could bobby be a subplot in his own funeral episode.

The terrible writing for those episodes will always lead me to believe it was done on purpose because he's not actually dead.

I miss what this show used to be and the loss of bobby has just put this huge Dark cloud over the whole show for me and I've seen similar comments in recent days from people.

Two episodes till mid-season and I really genuinely think the only thing they can give us in episode 6 is bobby alive because no other story has been fleshed out enough.

When I tell you that bobby nash is so alive. HES SO ALIVE.

the way athenas monologue is literally I took an oath to go anywhere to save a life

And in particular the "save a life" part is right beside the nash nametag means he's alive.

The imagery the symbolism and the foreshadowing is all done so intentionally

It's been awhile I've been compiling a piece all summer not sure it itll ever make it on here

But anyways I'm still bobbyslivemaxxing

And something I can't understand is a week before s9 comes out 3 episodes a getting rerun on tv

One being holy mother of God you know the episode that's very bobby centric

Which I can't understand why'd you rerun a episode centered around your character that's not gonna be in s9 unless he is alive and coming back

Do I believe that's how the story was supposed to go no. If Tim had his way bobby would stay dead. Though I believe abc always needed a plan B and that's why we were left with so many plotholes

No one expected the backlash to be this bad that we're all the way in july and people have not backed down

Therefore abc was faced with the only solution but to retcon it.

Is it going to be played as the biggest plot twist ever? YES. do I think it could be good tv? Yes. And if they rope nashville into it it'll be a great way of forcing the audience to watch the spinoff the see what happens bobby

There's still a small tiny part of me wondering If this was the plan all a long based on what certain people said but yeh

The upfronts were specifically to promote season 9 so why are they out here choosing to use a picture of Bobby and Athena to promote season 9 when Bobby's dead. It's not like the upfronts happened before we knew about him dying so therefore there was no reason at all to use that picture when he is dead.

Not to mention its a new picture that's never been released yeh we have one of the whole cast but not one or just Bobby and Athena so they really chose to just release this.

But why how can you use a dead character to promote your new season
