I’ve seen multiple people say something along the lines of “when you die of cancer, the cancer dies too, so it was a draw”, which I understand is a way to cope with the loss, but I feel like it’s kind of a weaksauce argument and crucially: that’s ignoring something really important:
Techno was fighting that battle on two fronts.
He was fighting the cancer inside himself, sure, but he was also fighting sarcoma in general by raising money for research.
And that fight isn’t over.
If the money Techno raised ends up helping with finding a cure for sarcoma in the future? I would consider that a W.
Techno was always a team player through and through, he knew that even if he went down, his team could still take the victory for him. Don’t disrespect him by calling it a draw when we don’t have the results yet. Keep supporting his teammates:
