Alright, so don't get mad, but let's take a look at HC folks as if you're making an RPG with them as characters.
You want a secret boss encounter, you want it to be surprising, hard to access and tough as nails, because you can actually get away with that, since it's bonus content.
Now don't get mad, but iJevin uploads frequently and reliably - you know when to expect him, it's not really surprising when he shows up. He's gotten into shenanigans lately a lot, but they, you know, make sense - there's a through line of sorts. I'm glad he got a theme now, it's got presence. But that's more of a recurring enemy fight stuff. He's there, you see him frequently, it's a fun encounter every time, the game wouldn't be the same without him.
But you want someone tucked away behind three exploration puzzles, incomprehensible and mysterious? That's probably Etho. He's very secretive, his upload schedule is incomprehensible and unpredictible, his plans are long spanning and every time he shows up he's doing some convoluted stuff that's hard to fully understand, there's like 5% of players on steam who've actually beaten him. There are whole communities theory crafting about what his deal actually is
(I also think JoeHills gotta be a secret boss, but specifically because of particulary subversive his videos are. He's like, a shopkeeper that only fights you if you bring him a very specific item with 2% drop rate, and then the fight is not actually difficult, it's just very very gimmicky. Like, he uses your health bar as a weapon so the closer you are to losing, the weaker his attacks are, or something like that)
