A better translation for "We are meant to be together." would be MeidÀt on tarkoitettu yhteen.
The correct way to say this in Finnish is MeidÀt on luotu toisillemme. (We were made for each other)
MeidÀn on tarkoitus olla yhdessÀ sounds really bad anglism and its meaning is more like "we are going to hang out together".
Nem hajt a tatĂĄr! [ËnÉm hÉjt É tÉtaËr]
Translation::: The Tartars are not herding us. | The Tartars are not behind us.
Meaning::: There is no need to hurry!
We use this proverb when somebody is rushing us to do something quickly, or we see that somebody is about to do something quickly, but we know, that thereâs no need to make it fast, because it might will not be done very well, or that there is really no rush to do it at the moment. By Tatars in this proverb we do not mean the Mongol tribe, but the medieval Turkic peopleâs cruel warriors. When they came, youâd better run away. Â ~ honvedelem.hu

tatĂĄr [ËtÉtaËr] â Tartar tatĂĄrjĂĄrĂĄs [ËtÉtaËrjaËraËÊ] â the Mongol invasion of Hungary and Eastern Europe in the 13th centur

Hi there dunno if this is the place to ask but do you maybe have starter audio resources? (got a learning disability so that would help a lot!)
Hi!I found a site called FinnishPod101.com. It has a load of video and audio lessons, although you have to make an account for it, but itâs free. They have videos with vocabulary and sentence lessons and listening exercises. They also have a Channel on Youtube and they have made a playlist with listening exercises for the very beginners. The audio comes twice and the second time there are Finnish and English subtitles to help you out. I think their other videos are also very clearly spoken.Hope this was useful! :)

A short sample text about daily routines:
Minden reggel fĂ©l 7-kor kelek. ElĆször felöltözöm Ă©s megfĂ©sĂŒlködöm, utĂĄna reggelizem. Reggelire mindig kukoricapelyhet eszem.
Every morning, I get up at 6:30. First I get dressed and brush my hair, then I have breakfast. I always eat cornflakes for breakfast. At 7:30, I leave for school. Iâm in school from 8 to 14. After school, I go to football practice every Monday and French class every Thursday. The French class only begins at 4, so I generally go to the library before that. In the afternoon, I generally rest a bit, and only study after that. We generally have dinner at 8, after that I tend to only surf the Internet and talk to my friends. At 10, I generally take a shower and then go to bed, but before that, I brush my teeth.
