âHumanoidâ can be a vague term when looking at alien/creature cause sometimes it refers to anything thatâs upright and loosely has the body plan of a human, and other times people mean literally just a normal ass human with things added on
as long as it has a sensory organ or two and some limbs, itâs humanoid enough as far as Iâm concerned.
Behold a man
the bare minimum is that humanoids must be bipedal
Behold a man: part 2
And they canât have feathers
BEHOLD A MAN
Man we really are doomed to repeat history arenât we?
Behold a man.
ok universe, iâm ready to feel good things. make me feel good things.
whenever i post this it works reblog if u want to feel good things & the universe will bring u something sweetÂ
something that people really dont understand about ADHD is that we dont âjump from one idea to the nextâ
we have very fast, very associative minds that connect ideas. we have a train of thought, it just goes WAY faster than yours!
example: im thinking about dogs. that makes me think of pitbulls, which makes me think of an animal planet show i enjoy. the show connects to tv in general, which makes me think of my favorite cartoon. i associate my favorite cartoon with art and animation, and i wind up thinking about shading techniques.
TL;DR: having ADHD is kinda like playing a lifelong game of 7 Degrees of Kevin Bacon
âŚWHAT THE FUCK
I am plagued by this but also that associative learning makes it really easy to be a hyper-generalist in terms of skills and knowledge.
This is how my brain worksâŚ.
The downside is, very few people can keep pace with these jumps, and Iâve actually been told my âmind leapsâ are annoying.
Yeah.
Let that sink in.
Being told that the way my mind makes connections between Point A and Point D while seemingly bypassing B and C is âannoyingâ.
⌠this.
It drives my husband absolutely NUTS- weâll be having a conversation and in a lull between sentences Iâll have jumped ahead six topics, pop back in with a âYeah, and-â
Meanwhile, heâs looking at me like Iâve grown another head. To him, whatever Iâve just said is a total non sequitur, but I can track EXACTLY how I got there⌠it just doesnât make any sort of sense to anyone but me.
Finally seeing this in words is very therapeutic for me
One metaphor I love for ADHD is comparing minds to cars: If a neurotypical is like a regular car, then people with ADHD are like a Ferrari - without properly working steering.
It fit's on so many levels: Sometimes you feel utterly beyond your potential because you can't utilize that speed because the way is to curvy so you have to manually push that car.
Sometimes you will have a stretch where you really can use your car and others will feel left behind and demand of you going slower (while also complaining that you are too slow when you can't use your speed) and you'll wonder what the heck is wrong with your car, everybody else seems to work the same, maybe at a much lower top speed, but why are their cars much more reliable than yours?
It might be after years of powering through that your Ferrari is so scratched and dented that no one is able to see that it is one and you start yourself that you have an utterly broken car that won't bring you anywhere. But it will never stop being a Ferrari and there will be times we're you just say screw it and hop in and drive, because it's fun to drive at full speed.
You probably end up somewhere you did not expect in the beginning, or you 'll somehow manage to get to your original goal, but made some massive detours on the way. In the end all that matters is to find a good place wherever ever may be - ideally with a good Autobahn connection.
i love one (1) disaster wizard
Itâs a good metaphor tho, because the situation is never going to get better if you donât eventually pull the door. And afterwards, no matter what the damage was, youâll have a working cabinet, whatever plates you could salvage, and a place to start putting new plates.
Reblogging for that comment ^

I just realized that the PokĂŠmon world probably has a pikachu emoji and we don't and frankly that's just not fair
the pokemon world probably has an emoji for most known pokemon and this is only becoming increasingly unfair
The Pokemon world also has Pokemon this is incredibly unfair
But would Pikachu really be that popular in the real PokĂŠmon world? We just get constant exposure to it, because we follow the tracks of one guy that never figured out how to keep it in its ball and store it into a computer, but it would be probably much more enlightening to look which PokĂŠmon you find meet over and over again with their trainers which are not the same individual.
By that logic it would be probably something like Chansey. And it makes sense, it actually is employed all other the place and provides a crucial task in the world of PokĂŠmon.
I feel like a mom on facebook reblogging this but I genuinely like it. I want to make this into a full size poster and put it in my 3rd grade classroom but Iâm 20 yrs old and not a teacher
âFidget toys make you less focused :)â that because youâre not adhd/autistic you fucking clod
list of things i have heard from people without adhd/autism who used my fidget toy:
- it doesnât do anything
- its a waste of plastic
- how do you pay attention in class
- it makes so much noise (it doesnât make any noise, they just saw i had it in my hand)
- at least my fidget spinner actually does stuff (my toy does 6 different things. also they got their fidget spinner taken the same day)
- its gay (creative)
things my friends with adhd/autism have said after using my fidget toy:
- oh my god
- its soâŚ. Good
- i could actually pay attention to shit in class
- where can i buy this???
- wait thereâs More stuff like this
- i love you. (not related to the toy per say but that felt nice)
This right here is an important post
As a teacher, the whole âfidget spinners being marketed as toysâ is the most terrifying trend my students have introduced me to. I gave a fidget cube to one of my 6th grade students whoâs been struggling all year with his adhd, who is so smart but is failing math because he canât focus in it. He was hesitant at first, about a teacher giving him something âto helpâ rather than punishing him, but agreed with me that it couldnât hurt to try.Â
He hasnât put it down.Â
Everyday since he got it, Iâve seen him with it. He holds it in his pocket, and hasnât climbed on a table or cussed at a teacher since.Â
BUT
There are at least 20 other kids in our school who bring fidget spinners and play with them out on the table during lessons. They donât pay attention in class, and they disrupt other studentsâ learning. These are not students with adhd or anxiety, these are students who are just playing because theyâre kids and thatâs what kids do.Â
What scares me is I know other teachers have been confiscating them. Theyâre going to be banned, if it continues to be a problem. And my 6th grader, whoâs had noticeable improvements since he started playing with his cube, is going to get in trouble for using something that helps him learn.Â

a muggleborn student coming to hogwarts with a thermos flask and filling it with tea in the morning so it stays hot all day and their pureblood friends are like âwhoa what spell did you use for thatâ and theyâre like â?????? itâs just a thermos???â and all the pureblood students start pointing their wands at cups and saying âTHERMOSâ
THERMOS
plot twist: it works, mugs suddenly start keeping tea at the perfect temperature for the caster all day. students in muggle studies start experimenting with other muggle jargon and a new generation of magic spells are born, propelling the stagnated wizard community into the technological age
*points wand at book* KINDLE!!!! *book propels itself into fireplace and bursts into flames* I FUCKED UP I FUCKED UP

yall I fucking bled for this peice of trash pls like itÂ
oh. I thought it was a photo.
Damn it took me 5 minutes to figure out why you wanted people to like a picture of soap. You did such a good job people think you are just posting random pics of soap.
this isnât the fist time this has happened, I painted lube and everyone was confused that I posted a picture of lubeÂ
This is such a Monkeyâs Paw kind of talent. Being so talented at hyperrealistic art that people just think theyâre photos and donât care.
The shine on that lube is SO good tho kudos
Damn thatâs impressive!

New Kitty Tonight from bkubâs twitter, translated by Catloaf on danbooru.
Perfect kitty.
Not to forget:
- Same wages and career opportunities as an equally qualified man
- That everything associated with females is not always considered somehow inferior
- Representation in media that goes beyond a role that is either a positively portrayed example of serving a guy's needs (sexually, emotionally or as something the guy either wants to win, or avenge the loosing of) or depicting any women with a significant amount of power or sexuality as evil and/or highly unsympathetic
- That guys actually care enough to learn about female anatomy to learn that woman's parts are not inherently icky and that their wiener does not dish out the same amount of pleasure it receives.
- Not only pockets, but clothing and shoes that are comfortable to wear and look nice on a normal body, instead of only on a clothes hanger or some anorexic mannequin. Also clothes in games that are actually plausible, offer the same amount of protection like a male variant and don't have random cutouts or boob-cups that direct hits to her sternum instead of away from her vitals.
- Actually it boils down to be treated like an equal human. (I deliberately don't say men here, because there are a few things only women need and also some things only man need. Equal treatment does not mean treating everyone like the favored gender but instead according to their actual abilities and needs.)
