Don't Tell Anyone - It's Bad Luck

when i was having an important talk with family about wanting to transition she said some shit about how hormones can really affect you or whatever (bc she’s had stuff with her thyroid or whatever) and it’s like...yea kinda like the estrogen that my body’s been producing! that’s kinda fucking me up! 

i mean yea i get it i know transitioning is a big thing and there are some aspects of it that are gonna be hell. it’s probably gonna affect my emotions and the way i feel for a while. but that was such an unnecessary thing to say like Buddy I Know do you think i just decided on a whim that i wanted testosterone? do you think i haven’t been thinking about this and reading about this for literal years? uuuuuugh

i mean it was one little comment and it wouldn’t bother me as much if everything else she did didn’t seem so fucky. the time she said something about how it’d be “hard” for me to be a guy... the time she was legitimately pissed about facebook having more gender options (joking that they should add drag queen on there. bc she loooooves drag queens).... the fact that she always goes on and on about how she’ll “accept me” but she still doesn’t use my pronouns or make any effort to acknowledge me as a guy at all even though i’ve made it pretty goddamn clear by now. and she still acts like she’s not transphobic! like get your head out of your ass loving drag queens and not kicking your trans son out of the house don’t give you a free pass to say that you’re a good ally. 

fjfjdg she’s so full of shit in general she’s that “i don’t see color” kind of type and pulls this whole “i like anyone as long as they’re smart :)” thing. if she knew what sapiosexual was she would probably legitimately call herself that! 

and she’s so unforgiving to people who do anything that so much as inconveniences her but when it comes to people saying things that are homophobic and transphobic it’s all “oh you can’t call someone a bad person because of one little thing :)”
