By the time I actually finish tracking my Masquerade boots from June, Clay Singer will be back.

I have 4 songs tracked from the first boot but I want to run one of them through the software again with some edits to clear out some of the reverb. And having listened to other parts of it already, the reverb on the title track is bad. The outside scenes recorded nicely which is exciting.

I love how most of what we know about Erik in Leroux’s novel is told by someone else’s perspective. Even by the end of the book, Erik’s appearance, backstory, creations, and actions are still shrouded in so much mystery and confusion. I just love how, even to the reader, the phantom and his genius appears incomprehensible

I just like how we don’t really see his point of view. Even when everything is explained as trapdoors and such, it’s still such a crazy concept to an overthinker like me
