The current wave-related events in SV and wind-related ranked season in Z-A finish sometime in August I’m not quite sure when and apparently I’ve decided not to double check that and Worlds is also in August sometime so here are some very self-indulgent ideas for stuff they should add to/do in SV and Z-A this late on in the Generation which aren’t gonna happen (except maybe the shiny Proto Beast and Neo Sword raids where I’m tricking myself into believing Game Freak would be willing to see them as Paldea’s second sub-legendary group for long enough to prioritise their shinies over the Loyal Three’s much worse shinies)
Shiny raids for the Proto Beasts and Neo Swords just like the Ruinous Quartet raids from last year
More runts. Drop a Rawstrunt (Fire-type focused on burns with its highest stat being Attack) in Scarlet, a Cherirunt (Electric-type focused on paralysis with its highest stat being Speed) in Violet and a Chestorunt (Psychic-type focused on sleep with its highest stat being Special Defense) and Aspearunt (Ice-type focused on freezing with its highest stat being Special Attack) in Z-A to match Pecharunt
Uhh the pyjamas from the beginning of XY were cool drop a new outfit in each game so Rose can wear orange pyjamas (or red but I think orange works better) in Scarlet, Lavender can wear purple pyjamas in Violet and Mint can wear green pyjamas in Z-A because it would be funny (and definitely brand the SV ones as Naranja and Uva stuff and probably do the same with Team MZ for Z-A. Apparently Naveen makes pyjamas now). Also give them matching eye masks and slippers bc why not. I just need some good green outfits in Z-A and I think pyjamas are the only important thing missing now from SV’s limited (boarding) school-based wardrobes
Give us a set of “rare gems” or something that turn out to all be Mega Stones and now the Proto Beasts, Neo Swords, Ruinous Quartet and Legendary Wings (sorry Calyrex, its steeds and the Galarian Titans) have Megas now (and Goodra, Talonflame, Gogoat, Noivern, Liepard, Mightyena, Torkoal, Tropius, Armarouge, Ceruledge, Pawmot and Florges continue to be disrespected. I’m sorry you twelve deserved Megas I just want something for some of the Legendary groups I’m obsessed with) and fuck it I say the storyline is those guys came through rings from Hyperspace at some point and are now each in a plaza with some of their biggest rivals. Wake and Leaves are in Rouge Plaza, Fire and Wo-Chien are in Magenta Plaza, Boulder and Chien-Pao are in Jaune Plaza, Bolt and Ting-Lu are in Vert Plaza, Crown and Chi-Yu are in Bleu Plaza (I promise I didn’t intentionally match the Ruinous Quartet up based on their stake and shrine colours I just thought Jaune was the best choice for Boulder and Chien-Pao to have a running race and Crown and probably not actually Chi-Yu now I think about it would like the water more than Bolt and Ting-Lu would) and the Legendary Wings are in Centrico Plaza (Wake and Leaves can swap with the Legendary Wings and in that case those two should be on friendlier terms and maybe after testing the player they would encourage the player to stop everyone from fighting I just thought the bigger group should be the odd one out and go in the central plaza. The Wings don’t get on that well though. Wake and Leaves could definitely be the first ones to make up once they’re beaten though). Also have Jacinthe and Lebanne help out with Wake and Leaves, Grisham and Griselle help out with Fire and Wo-Chien, Ivor and Gwynn help out with Boulder and Chien-Pao, Canari and Tarragon help out with Bolt and Ting-Lu (matching type not intentional. Also after writing that I’ve just realised Canari and Bolt aren’t the only ones here that match. What is with the Electric and Ground-types being paired together?), Corbeau and Philippe help out with Crown and Chi-Yu (again a matching type. Heck Griselle matches Fire as well and I don’t think I have to mention Wake and Lebanne (why do Dragon-types and Dragon trainers have such good hair?). Also spoilers but Naveen and Galarian Moltres too. Boulder and Chien-Pao are the only group who don’t share any type with a trainer I’ve assigned to them and even then they’re both associated with the move Sacred Sword) and Urbain/Taunie, Lida and Naveen help out with the Legendary Wings. The battles are just Rogue Mega battles but harder because there are more opponents at once and they’re all Legendary/Legendary-rarity/Mythical-rarity (and have the stats to back that up) also I’m giving them their own battle themes because fuck it. The Legendary Wings already have their own battle theme but Wake and Leaves can have a remix of the Tera Raid battle theme (maybe with some Legendary Beasts and Swords of Justice themes mixed in) and the other four remix the Ruinous Quartet theme with the Legendary Beasts theme or the Swords of Justice theme depending on which is more appropriate but also add their own flair to them based on the unique types of the Pokémon using the theme. Realistically though all six battles would just use the Rogue Mega theme which coincidentally reminds me of the Ruinous Quartet’s theme. I put way too much thought into something that’s never happening (this is my second least likely idea in this whole post)
Non-shiny raids for the Hero Duo, Legendary Wings, Regieleki and Regidrago (if you wanted shinies you should have got them in SwSh or GO) and a raid for Calyrex which I don’t mind if it’s shiny bc it’s shiny-locked and not available in SV anyway
Don't ask me how they’d do this but I’d also love something where I can have a battle between my Scarlet, Violet and Z-A characters. I’m so attached to Rose, Lavender and Mint
