Ah thank you for that question I actually pondered on that allot of times 😏

For me, Aizen with Kyōka Suigetsu is like an artist with his paintbrush. Meaning if my brush suddenly stops working it doesn't mean the artist suddenly stops being an artist! Like I would simply use a different tool. Thier immunity is an inconvenience, not a defeat. And he knows this.

Then would his ego truly be hurt? Well I think kinda yes and no— like meaning it does not really matter actually. To be more precise, he would not LET it bother him for long (more details to that down there)

Since, we have to keep in mind that Aizen is not an average, fragile narcissist. He doesn't have this typical vulnerable ego that will question itself or stay angry for long. He could be deeply displeased, yes, but he wouldn't break down.

Before he even considers their immunity, I imagine Aizen’s mind, when assessing others, always uses the same diagnostic tool. He doesn't care about their Soul King affiliation just for the sake of it. He cares about utility for his own transcendence. Always.

If we look at his internal flowchart for dealing with people, it basically looks like this:

Are you of no value? → 🪦

No value + a threat? → 🪦

No value + not a threat? → 🪦 or he forgets their existence which also can mean 🪦

Yes, you have value? → 😏

Value + a threat? → 😏 but chance of 🪦 later

Value + a HIGH threat? → 😏😏 but also potentially later 🪦

Now, I have to emphasize: when I say "value," not "usable." (If that word means the same in English… I don’t know in my language it does not)

Aizen is a genius; he can find a way to use anyone as a tool. By "value," I mean you are exceptional. You possess something so rare and unique that he cannot replicate or find it anywhere else in the universe—which fits the Soul King piece perfectly. If you hit that tier of exceptional value, your chances of immediate elimination drop significantly and getting the honor of an Ichigo treatment or worse 👁️👄👁️

Coming back why it would not bother him.

I don’t know if you guys ever experienced it that you to end up liking something because you initially disliked it, or because you aren't "supposed" to like it. It’s not just a thing a man with an lack of empathy and a god complex experiences who is chronically bored— it’s very common actually and it happens usally subconsciously like not a actual choice that you make and sometimes you even forget that you initially disliked it before.

Its actually simple— Dislike or rather being exposed to something that you dislike is on simple terms at least a possible situation were you lose control. Or maybe choice of agency.

And well what does this handsome brunette value. Controlllllll. It’s called Reactance by Jack Brehm it’s when something feels restricted, unavailable, or locked away which in this case can be also be by a feeling of supposed dislike or rather „that’s bad for you“ it suddenly gains a massive, distorted value. The brain begins to crave the very thing it rejected simply to reclaim its total freedom of autonomy.

So yes he would be displeased I think but at the end if you’re valuable his massive ego would twist it ironically kind of illogical enough that Aizen would be somehow despite anything feel amused if not pleased. At least that is what we would only see anyway. For more she probably needs to grab his face and throw him out of the city… like you know simple things 🧚‍♀️ 💅

Aizen And Attraction- The Psychological nightmareeeee

I found this audio (I have no idea how tho), "Vengeful Presence" and it felt like that this would be his internal melody and what it feels like if you dare to make a man like him feel things.

Like the track moves with a slow, cold, and haunting rhythm—like a detached heartbeat of sort (?!). And beneath that pulse, there is a constant, prickling background noise (or my headphones are broken), like the static of an old TV. That static is the friction of your presence invading his space. And then the dark quiet that follows after like literal emptiness.

So feel free to listen to while you read my ramblings~

FIRST: The Person of their interests

To lay down the ground work: for Aizen to feel anything other than absolute boredom, a person cannot just be strong; you must be an existential anomaly like he is or maybe like inverted mirror. But they must possess at least those two traits that it works:

High Intelligence & Independence: You don't seek approval. You operate on your own logic, maybe understanding or see his reasonings but would never try to wear his ambition as your own (the reasons why can vary) — but for the most part because you have your very own views and goals that you are working towards.

Contempt and Hatred

Because Aizen’s entire existence is hyper-fixated on his ultimate goal, anything unrelated to that path is met with absolute, frozen detachment. His internal world is a perfectly controlled, pitch-black void. He understands logic, strategy, and power, but he does not understand personal, involuntary fixation. I found the scene so very telling

Because if the feeling has nothing to do with the Hōgyoku, the Soul King, or anything practical, he is completely detached from it.

So he only notices you first as a glitch—that your entire being is as if were like a flashlight that dares to strike through the deep black void of his soul— in a way you can imagine, it would be like if you look at the sun, directly. You would squint and probably look away that could be a good analogy of how it feels for him keep noticing you—

Not pleasant. But somehow… he does not look away.

You occupy his thoughts, but his brain defaults to his most familiar powerful emotions he is able to feel that he knows: contempt boarding to utter deep hatred. His psyche literally lacks the software to emotionally process or pinpoint something immediately like that because it is so very personal..

„Such an truly despicable presence...“

But in truth is he despises that he keeps looking at you, noticing you!

🩸 Phase 1

At first, Aizen remains physically and verbally detached. Also to add if he still acts as a lieutenant/captain he cannot just show his darkness.

So he observes them from a distance, at times even uncharacteristically absent that can come across of being uninterested— in a way not as responsive playing his role

but also not fully straining away either. Probably most the times he has people keeping his tabs on you, since he is busy and all. Because distance for him somehow is a factor to him when it comes to you.

He will treat you with his signature polite parental way— but if you say something/do something that rattles him (that shows your significance) he will only smile while closing his eyes but during that he thinks… very morbid things.

The Irrational Annoyance:

He notices tiny details. The way you breathe, the sound of your footsteps, the specific cadence of your voice. It irritates him. If you enter a room, his focus immediately, involuntarily snaps to you.

The Core Conflict:

For a man who prides himself on absolute mental autonomy, the fact that a minor variable (you) can alter his internal state is infuriating. He labels it a clinical annoyance. He tells himself he is simply studying a peculiar specimen. He isn’t.

🩸 Phase 2

As the irritation persists and he realizes he cannot stop thinking about you and like I said those thoughts will become dark and deeply disturbing.

This is the indicator of his attraction. Intimate violence. But while he does this things in his mind his internal monologue would never be angry or overall emotional— he is to detached to do so.

It is because he cannot possess you truly emotionally (due to your radical independence), his mind begins to simulate your physical and psychological breaking points. If you could look inside his head, it would look like a horror film.

The Morbid thoughts:

He begins to have quiet, vivid fantasies of dismantling you. He wonders what color your blood looks like under specific lighting. He imagines his hand snapping your collarbone or how it would feel to feel your pulse at his fingers speeding up, or slowing down.

It is this dark curiosity like he wants to know if that radical independence stays in your eyes when you are in agony, scared, angry or humiliated.

Like I said the hint is that this is somehow attraction—

Is that this isn't clean, it’s not the clinical violence he uses on battlefield for his enemies (like cutting down Hitsugaya). This is slow, lingering, and tactile. He wants to touch the places he breaks. He wants to be the one holding you as you choke on your own blood. The violence becomes at first his only language for him to allow himself to desire to be close to you. It is a desire to peel you open to see what makes you so you.

Sexual attraction:

If you somehow survive his fabricated dangerous situations for you (that also will happen)

maybe it is because you’re not enough of an threat to his plans so he calculates them so that you somehow survive— or you have plot armor or I don’t know you’re very special 🙂‍↕️

Aizen is the worst kind of slow burn if you somehow spark something sexually in him, it would only irritates him further. He would have those thoughts I said before but those would slowly turn sexual. But also not in a good way— like I’m sorry I just can’t imagine that this friggen dude has a healthy sexuality NOPEEE 😂😂😂

And then he would notice it, the arousal, in a way he cannot detach and reread away from it because that is so entirely new and uncharacteristically for him, and that would make him angry, so very angry.

(But everything is internally no one would see a thing)

Because it would directly attack his ego—his god complex. And it is in a way so very humiliating for him— and he would never put it on himself so he would twist it again that you (!!!!) are in fact in way humiliating him. It’s your fault. In a way he would be a hypocrite playing the blaming game first, but he is. And with all the people that actually try to fight him, question him— they never affected him but your presence alone humiliating him in a such intimate way, that stings. You can imagine that this is not good for you. Not good at all.

🩸 Phase 3

The turning point happens when Aizen notice so many perfect, logical opportunities to completely erase you—and he simply doesn't take it, everytime.

The Epiphany: (I love that word so much)

Aizen kills people who inconvenience him without a second thought. But with you, he realizes that despite his violent fantasies, he has never actually desired your permanent absence. He doesn't want you to be truly dead. No. That would be boring.

He wants you broken, but alive, and foremost so very exposed entirely under his scalpel. It is similar like a pinned butterfly display and the process of it (google the tutorial if you can stomach it how people do that that’s how I imagine his „love“ would be)

"MOUNTING & PRESERVING"

The Diagnosis:

When he finally names a emotion. It isn't anymore this thing that costumes as hatred. And finally, the crease between his eyebrows that appears so often on his face in your presence would lessen, since he feels more in control again, making him way more at ease. But do not misunderstand me this makes him only more predatory. The realization of this personal consuming desire for you doesn't soften him; it makes him much more dangerous.

The Trap

Once Aizen partly accepts this attraction, his behavior shifts into a highly toxic campaign to undermine your independence. The thing is he wants an equal but that stays only in theory in his subconscious— his ego cannot tolerate actually having an equal. Therefore, he will actively work to ruin the very traits that attracted him to you in the first place, or he would turn this anger, that humiliation that still simmers in him, back to you wanting to hurt you in a very intimate way.

(You can imagine the extent/ the details/ ways since I’m still not fully concrete on those and also I believe it would reflect on the person, what it can be how much etc.)

But he would definitely do:

-Systematic Gaslight

He will subtly alter your environment, orchestrating events to make you doubt your own intelligence. He will drop hints, leave false trails, and slowly alienate you from anyone else, ensuring that he is the only person you can interact with.

-Targeting the Self-Awareness

He will weaponize his deep understanding of psychology to find the one thing that you’re vulnerable to. The thing can be that you are uncertain of or scared of and slowly he would drill, drill and drill deeper into it.

He doesn’t have to say things that trigger this, his artistry is manipulating senses you know! He wants to see that radical honesty turn into self-doubt and much more he wants to be the cause to see your everything.

The Ultimate Cruelty:

So yeah... it’s pretty shit to be desired by him xD

The tragedy of being desired by Aizen is that it is a losing game. If the partner resists his attempts to keep them small— his violent fixation/obsession impulses would not go away but fix even more onto you.

And you maybe thought during this— „hey but this headcanon only works if the person is in way is not available for him— like it’s kind of onsided“

And if you thought so you’re right. Because coming back to his desire to have an equal and his isolation which created his god complex. (Which I went here into more detail here )

His identity is build on being that person so in a way he would „attach“ what we call dismissive avoidant even tho I don’t like what pop-culture did to that theory.

And those kind of people are very often attracted towards people that for whatever reason are not fully available for them. Because then in his case they could become an equal or in a way close that he would find it truly threatening— so he simply in my headcanon this attraction would not really from to this extent. Because he doesn’t really want softness. His utter most desire will be ALWAYS staying in control.

I don’t know if I said anything profound but I wanted to share this since I feel like now I have sorted my thoughts or ideas on him in a concrete way— Im would not call this love obv. but I think anything that goes into a more personal direction for him would be not...good.
