so so far, the samoyeds aren't interested in them and are more interested in outside. they also bark loudly lol.

For some reason I'm getting some of their songs and performances on my algorithm. And tbh I kind of vibed with them. The music and aesthetics were cute, the dance was clean. They really did give that youth feeling.

now prior to that, we were getting the lu/han and guan xiao/tong breakup rumours. because my algorithm is mostly male idols, the videos i was getting were more sympathetic to lu/han. there were videos of guan xiao/tong doing promo for some of her dramas and having fun with (male) costars. and lu/han fans were like "how could she do that with another man while lu/han is suffering!" which are yeah, pretty dramatic lol. they make it sound like she's off partying while leaving her snivelling and broken bf alone and suffering.

but i think the signs were all there that they'd broken up. i think the not wishing each other happy bday publicly was the big one. wasn't there a year where they forgot and there was a bit rumour that they broke up and one of them hurriedly posted a message?

then i finally watched the new jgao video that went into depth on the influencer's relationship with lu/han. at this time, i'd warmed up to the first picture earlier in the year and kind of slowly accepted that it was him. and based on the new 'pics'...like sorry gals but that's him.

unfortunate because my impression of lu/han was that he had kind of a good image. him leaving e/x/o was a sign of him having good work/life balance, and him publicly getting together with his girlfriend was him showing that he was proud to be her bf. but alas. you live long enough to see him become the villain.

i'm not a lu/han defender. it's a pity because i thought he had a good thing going on but like i don't actually care that much about him. i'm also not going to be one of those "i never liked him" people because that's not true. like i said i thought he had a good image. i even wrote fic with him as a character because i had a good impression of him.

one thing that had always skeeved me out was when he got together with guan xiao/tong. i googled it and she was 20 and he was 27. i was under the impression that she was even younger. but i guess that when they first met, she would have been 19 years old max. i liked him at the time and i struggled to accept that age gap. but because they'd met while filming a drama and they'd been together for a long time, people around me kind of rationalized it and i did too. to this day i still kind of struggle over whether it's acceptable because they ended up being together for so long. but i don't think the cheating scandal has anything to do with that. i just wanted to bring that up because i just never had anywhere to discuss it.

now, guan xiao/tong is 28, close to the age that lu/han was when he started dating her. her career is growing. she's been acting all this time. i haven't paid as much attention to lu/han's music career so honestly i have no clue where he's at. i knew he was in running man and only in dramas occasionally. oh and he did one of those idol competition shows.
