Hey hi!! I have commissions open! I need some financial help!

A few months ago I had a planned elective surgery, which went great! Unfortunately, during the procedure they discovered an unknown mass that ended up being Cancer.

As treatment and further prevention I had surgery (again) pretty quickly with little time to prepare.

Since then I’ve had to reduce my work hours, blood loss from my recovery has left me anaemic and fatigued.

It’s put me in a rough spot financially, it’s been difficult to keep up with my usual bills, now with medical debt stacked on top. I still have further cancer treatment / monitoring, right now it’s waiting and monitoring to hopefully get back to where I was before.

That being said— anything will help. Please consider commissioning me or sharing this post!!

after i made my wooden doll, i was musing about what other unusual materials i might use for a bjd. my partner suggested paper, and also gave me access to their craft paper collection -> i made this.

she is almost entirely made of paper & cardboard. the joints are wooden beads & worbla, because i did figure out a way to make ball joints out of paper, but it really was not worth the effort. all her limbs have tubes of rolled-up cardboard in them to keep the structure sturdy, and the origami flowers are glued around those.
