the thing about female characters and marriage and motherhood and other societal expectations is that if you actually spend time examining their relationships to those roles you can get really interesting results! but people aren’t doing that! why is this character married for the finale? because she’s a woman and that’s what they do!

I like it when theres a suicidal man in a story because most men deserve this

and for my favorite character: failed suicide attempt and erectile dysfunction

now picture the character powerless and afraid and losing all hope

Actually i agree? It sucks that parents get mad at kids for doing something they enjoy if it isnt sports

the thing that is being said here is not “i wish other things than sports were acceptable in today’s society” but “i was born with glass bones and paper skin and therefore i should be allowed to play ten hours of video games a day, MOM”
