*Yeah, the drunk and the cynical torture man, parents of the century* thought Glokta as he was ripping the fingernails off an aristocrat starved into submission, His "skills" had a decline since these thoughts started to plague him, he felt his "Artistic streak" slowly fading away. Until a few months ago he could have easily devised the most abhorrent, execrable of tortures to inflict on that malnourished, scrawny, wailing, silk-stocking. But on the bright side, the constant headaches these thoughts brought seemed to make the pain in his leg slightly more bearable.
