I just finished the first law trilogy and I have many many thoughts. Mainly, Glokta and Ardee are going to RAISE A CHILD. Do you know how messed up this kid will be!? Yeah, the drunk and the cynical torture man, parents of the century. If my information is correct, we will meet this kid and I am so excited.

You ever start writing a story and you’re like ‘I want this to be realistic and reflect on my real life experiences, thoughts and feelings’ and then you read it and WOW this makes me feel horrible and it’s not entertaining at all, it’s realistic though! Are there any tips for finding a balance?

I love writing characters with EXTREMELY different opinions as me like yes girl you are so wrong but I’m glad you’re passionate about it.

Just thinking about how much I love Katara and Toph’s friendship. I mean, sure Katara kinda reminded Toph about her parents over-control and the stars comment was absolutely brutal, but in the end, I feel like Katara truly saw Toph as her own person. I don’t know about you, but if I was a disabled kid whose parents constantly infantilized her and treated her like a helpless baby, having a friend who’d insult me and argue with me like equals would be kinda cathartic. I think that’s part of the reason why Toph loved Earth Rumble wrestling thing so much. Katara didn’t see Toph as a helpless blind kid, just an unhelpful one. She didn’t give her an out just because she’s blind. She treated her like she’d treat anyone else and I think that’s part of would mean a lot to a disabled person.

Guys, I’ve accepted that Logen is a violent bastard who’s addicted to bloody murder and being feared. I am SICK AND TIRED of wasting my nights away thinking about the complexities of his character and his weird suppression/dissociation/whateverthehelliswrongwithhim. CURSE YOU JOE ABERCROMBIE. Thats just my silly little murder man. He does tricks.
