Almost forgot to post this, late last year I did this pinup for issue 3 of D4VE2 from IDW.

Amazing series written by Ryan Ferrier with art by Valentin Ramon, it wrapped up with issue 4, make sure you grab all of them.

In the most difficult time of her life, a young girl tries to come to terms with the emptiness caused by a personal loss.

This is the premise of NIC, a new comic I “wrote” and drew that’s now becoming available for international audiences. I put the writing in between quotes because it’s a silent story, told by visual narrative. Even though I did write down notes during the process, I didn’t come up with an actual script for it.

I won’t say much more about the story besides that premise because it’s a short story and I don’t want to give too much away. I’ll say, though, that it’s a very personal project I’m really proud of, I had bits and pieces of a larger version of it popping into my head since around 2007, what ended up here is much different and to the point, it served as a sort of vessel to help me get rid of a few demons, I needed to get that out of my chest and at the same time I needed something new of my own for the conventions happening around here in november and december.

Since it’s a silent story, it can be read by anyone in any language and I’m making it available for purchase by anyone who wants it anywhere in the world. It’ll be up in my Big Cartel store in a couple of weeks (DECEMBER 10TH!!), until then I’ll be talking and showing a bit more about it.

It’s already out here in Brazil and I’m glad it’s being very well received by a lot of people I respect, so I hope you’ll like it too.
