oh my god where do i even begin with this one. christ. okay so, this was drawn for an assignment called "do it better", where we take a cover we personally think couldve been drawn better and then well. do it better.

this is the original cover + real art in the comics. i cannot make this up.

these are the first draft thumbnails i did, trying to feel out exactly what the vibe was. going left to right, the first one was too simple and looked more like a single splash page than a cover, the second was the one i ended up going with, and the third also had the splash page issue.
