Louise Simonson's account of Cable's creation describes a collaborate process where writer and artist both had things to contribute. Not surprisingly, Rob remembers a different version where he did all the work, never acknowledging Simonson by name, denying she had any involvement, dissing her writing, and claiming he was hired on the understanding he'd replace her in less than a year (sure that did happen, but i doubt it was ever the intention when he was hired as artist).

Of course, this contradicts Rob's own statements from a few years back.

Unsurprisingly, Rob goes full Tr*mp in denying all his contradictory statements, dismissing it as fake news blah blah blah.
