Our bedroom has become unbearably hot, so we bought a fancy fan at Costco that looks like the Enterprise. My husband was trying to come up with Star Trek related names to call it, so I said let’s just call it Trekkie bc it’s a fan. A super fan. And he walked out of the room.

I'm of the controversial opinion that all Trek is good Trek (even if some series aren't for everyone) - until the fateful, horrific day when someone decides to make a Trek that is "edgy" and "subverts the traditional themes" of Trek. Then we all must band together to defeat them.
