Ralsei as Human and Noelle as Ego Renegade Boy makes a lot of sense actually. of course Ralsei "i wanna be a princess but im terrified of stepping out of my role" would have the transfem song that is generally friendlier/happier about fearing stepping out of your destined path. and of course Noelle "i want to change so bad id kill myself" would have the transmasc song that is generally louder/aggressive about transitioning instead of killing yourself regardless of what people think. of course they would. and Human being more about internal conflict (Ralsei being pushed into the closet by her role in the prophecy) while Ego Renegade Boy is more about societal conflict (Noelle being pushed into the closet by the societal expectations forced on him)
they really do make sense together
Genuinely wondering, but where is the evidence (for lack of better term) within the game of Noelle being trans masc? I'm not really sure if its a head canon or something like trans fem Ralsei that is more explicitly shown in recent Deltarune chapters.
Some of Noelle’s dialogue in Chapter 5’s Weird Route is viewed as potentially trans coded, along with the color of Noelle’s room, and the fact that Spamton is the only boss required for the Weird Route, Spamton and Noelle share quite a lot of themes, and Spamton is explicitly implied if not basically confirmed to be trans masc. Those are some of the reasons I’ve heard others bring up, but there are probably others. It is more head canon territory though, especially compared to trans fem Ralsei, but it’s still a neat idea/theory.
