“They’re workin’ us night and day shootin’ for our movie lately,” Anna slurred through her drowsiness. “I haven’t gotten a day off since…” She counted on her fingers. “Uh, like, February, I think.” Then again, if she didn’t keep flubbing her lines, maybe they wouldn’t be as behind schedule as they were. “You got that new show comin’ up, right? Please tell me you get treated a little better at Warner Bros. Like, at least you can do cartoon schtick on the really bossy types. Princesses can’t get away with that.”

Yakko sighed as he looked at Anna. Yeah, she was right. He’d been finally allowed out of the water tower for the second time in over twenty years for it, and he was finally working. But he did feel bad for Anna. After what had happened between him and Elsa, Harley Quinn came into his life and she moved into the tower. So he could relate. “Tell me about it,” he said, “Which is why I kept telling the rat who is your boss to consider making Miss Piggy a princess…. mainly because she thinks I’m him and if it meant she’d get off my back about it, I could finally recover from the karate chops.”

“Yeesh. I hope you don’t call him a rat to his face.” Granted, Mickey was too much of a softie to do much about it, but it was more the principle of it. “You know what? Good idea. The Muppets are funny! We don’t really have a comedy princess. And she does karate, so like, bonus.” They’d really been pushing the action, kick-butt angle lately. Her arms still ached from hours of sword training. “I know they won’t listen to you, but maybe I could bring it up next meeting.”

“Thank you,” the Doctor smiled at the flower. “How do you usually celebrate such a thing? I know some people will have different traditions.”

“Well, there aren’t as many festivals as there are in the winter, but there’s still plenty to do. The farmers start farming again, and that’s a big ordeal.” As they continued their conversation, she stopped every now and then to give a fresh flower to a passerby. Even with all the people out and about today, her arms were still stuffed with blossoms. “It gets sunny and the trees leaf again and you wanna go out and run in the woods, but you can’t ‘cause the bears have all woken up… Maybe that’s just me.

“Easter’s the big thing. All the eggs and church and dinner and stuff, obviously. But for some reason everybody wants to do snow stuff during Easter lately. Kristoff says the mountains are full of tourists this time of year. I don’t really get it, but I guess that’s just ‘cause I get my sister to help with snow stuff year-round,” she said with a chuckle.

“So why don’t we celebrate?” the Doctor suggested, “I don’t think I’ve ever seen the mountains here. We are usually a bit too busy. Yes, why don’t you show me the mountains?” The Doctor did always enjoy seeing new things and if anyone was going to know their way around, it was most likely going to be her.

“Really? Right now?” After she just spent that time complaining about how that was the least spring-like thing a person could do... Oh, well. “Uh, sure! I better go fetch my cloak.” And she’d just put that away, too. At least she always kept it somewhere easy to find in case of an impromptu snowman-building session. “Why don’t you follow me? I’m sure I can find you an extra coat,” she said as she headed toward the castle gates.

Anna sighed. “That’s okay. Nobody ever has an answer to that one.” At least, not a good answer. Ask Elsa and you’d get an impromptu lecture about traditions and politics and religion that she could only follow for about ten minutes. “I guess ‘people don’t like change’ is what they say. But I used to be in a place where everything stayed the same. It was boring! All the time! Change can be weird, but it doesn’t drive you crazy like boredom does.”

Saya had told Anna that she had done some traveling before coming to Arendelle.

She put her index finger under her chin in thought. It was a tough question but some of the places she had been to had more painful memories compared to others.

“Well, Arendelle would have to be the most special place I’ve been so far but I really liked Tokyo. Tokyo is the capital of Japan. I made some friends there. I saw people dressed up in costumes and I visited the famous Tokyo Tower.”

“Wait, so people just walk around in costumes for the heck of it? That sounds soooo fun. I wish people would do that around here.” The many imitation-ice dresses that had started to fill the local shops almost seemed like costumes, but it wouldn’t take long for them to become the norm and a new trend to take its place. Come to think of it, she had a window of opportunity to set a trend or two herself here...

“I’ve heard of like, England and France having fancy towers, but not Tokyo. Don’t they have earthquakes all the time? How do they keep it up?” She didn’t know anything about architecture, but...well, she had played with blocks as a kid. And a block tower tall enough toppled over at the slightest movement.

Sister quality time, open gates, lots of new friends... Can’t deny there’s been a rough patch here and there, but nothing we can’t get through. What about you? How have you been?”
