i wouldn't be so annoyed if she hadn't been like 'i'm feeling better' earlier. this isn't the first time this has happened, either. i have to act like she's actually sick and feel bad for her because saying 'i don't think you're actually sick' is rude. anyway i think more than her actually being sick, she's depressed over getting older. which i also can't say.

she tested negative for covid and ik the tests can be unreliable but i was trying to reassure her she probably wasn't sick because i would also be sick (since we've been in close proximity to each other). but then suddenly she started spiraling about her sore throat and she cancelled her birthday dinner (it's her birthday today) and now she's in bed at 4:00pm.

i think my mom is a bit of a hypochondriac
