they are all 23 years old, but the setting is anachronistic. basically, don't think too hard about the appearance of a not made to be retro t mobile sidekick in a comic that also mentions modern musicians.

they met in middle school and have been a group of besties/freaks ever since

Bunni and Lap have been together since around the time they met Skylar, slightly longer

Bunni (she/her) is cis, bisexual, polyamorus, autihd, and she loves to bake and have fun, very bimbo very sweet and loving unless you give her reason not to be. Has passionate special interests and loves to pursue them regardless of social norms (she will dress how she likes, collect what she likes, bake what she likes, and not care if it's cringe or something, if it's not hurting anyone it's fair game for her to enjoy without guilt bc she lived too long trying to be less.) Loves music like Chappelle Roan, Carly Rae Jepsen, Lady Gaga, Avril Lavigne, Fall Out Boy, and more, as well as plushies and rainbows and sparkly things and throwing parties for people and just trying to brighten everyone's day. A real sweetheart and the Girlypop Gomez to Lap's Morticia. Bunni is short for Bunnibelle.

Lap (she/they) is a polyamorus nonbinary lesbian and autistic, makes her own clothes and loves to read and pursue a million hobbies/skills/creative pursuits. kinda like a Morticia Addams type lady. was super thin in middle school so that mixed with their fur color and quiet "creepy" demeanor and her white eyes made kids think they were a ghost and avoid or try to bully her. Has since put on weight as she healed and grew up and developed a sweet tooth for their girlfriend's baking. Secret softie but genuinely terrifying if you're unkind to her loved ones. Lap is short for something but they keep it close to the chest. Has a strained relationship with her wealthy parents.

Skylar (he/him) is pansexual, a trans man, polyamorus and an ADHD legend. Doesn't have access to proper adhd meds so self medicates with weed, alcohol, sugar, and energy drinks. Brilliant engineer but only works if it's for shenanigans or intoxication, can't lock in for anything else with his engineer brain. Grew up next door to Jamie and quickly became best friends at a young age. Had a crush on Jamie's older sister in the past but still teases Jamie about it despite being happy just being friends with her. Emotional Support Bro to Jamie. Idolizes bugs bunny for his genderfuckery and general fuckery. Idolizes 3OH!3 for making music he loves and their energy. Idolizes BBNO$ for his style of masculinity and rizz. Desperately wants to be cool and loved and is a nice guy, just also an adhd guy not properly medicated and also a smartass so his impulsive nature and fast running mouth get him into shit/fired a lot so he's chronically job hopping. kind of a himbo but also kind of the loveable asshole trope. He's got some shit to work through but he'll get there. Gods favorite little trainwreck basically.

Jamie Rose (he/him) is bisexual, a cis man, polyamorus, and an autistic legend. Loves plants and animals and music and art. Is an activist in his community and is studying to be a doctor because biology is fascinating to him and he wants to help people with his interests whenever possible. Uses music (making and listening) to self regulate and express himself, as he also does with art. Grew up next door to Skylar and became besties at a young age. Emotional Support Bros with Skylar. Prone to shennanigans with Skylar as he's the guy that Jamie can be his most authentic self with and let loose while trusting to have his back. enjoys skateboarding around the neighborhood to check on the local wildlife and strays and observe the local flora. a very smart, silly, fun loving and passionate guy. Loves all sorts of music but his faves are Childish Gambino, Fall Out Boy, Lil Nas X, Paramore, 3OH!3, System of a Down, Kendrick Lamar, Blink 182, Green Day, and BBNO$

Jade Rose (she/her) is a bisexual, cisgender, monogamous, autistic woman. She loves fashion and art and learning new things. She's a beautician who hopes to one day have her own fashion line and makes clothes in her free time for fun and for profit. She's a shrewd businesswoman and always speaks her mind. Quick with a joke and full of love for her friends, family, and the world at large but not so naive as to just be completely open to everyone. She knows her worth and enjoys helping people feel their best through looking their best. She was the blueprint to her little brother Jamie and taught him all he knows about social issues and how to be an effective activist, as well as all he knows about drag and makeup and such since he's been raiding her closet forever. She likes gardening and singing and always has time for her brother and his lil friends.
