So I am currently working on H.A.V.O.C, but that doesn't really mean much without the basic rundown, does it?

Also, this is blaze, i'm just using a side blog.

Ok, so:

Have you ever wanted superpowers? Wondered what they would be? What would you choose? How would you use them? Cool, here's some space gatorade.

Did you drink it? No? Well, why not? It would have given you superpowers. All these idiots drank the space juice, most of them by the're their own free will.

And here we discuss a world that is newly introduced to magic. We've got terrorists, capitalists, robots that are mostly sentient, a dog, revolutionaries, shapeshifters, engineers, people being hunted for sport, evil scientists, even eviler scientists, an antivampire, a tour guide with infinite guitars, my thinly veiled hatred of the military, and a lot of people who can become various sentient goos.

Someone being Prisoner 3855 could mean nothing, but what if they seem to be the only remaining person with a number in the -800s? What happened to the others that they alone managed to survive?

Or, if living weapon training fails/kills most of its recruits, then the numbers the weapons are assigned will rapidly outpace the actual population. Imagine a dormitory of two dozen trainees with fifty numbers left empty between the oldest and youngest. Even if the bunks in the room are full, the space must be overwhelmed with ghosts.

On the other end of the spectrum, numbers that are too low. You are now 003. The things that are happening to you are unprecedented. They waste ink on an extra two zeros in the hopes to keep doing this for years.

It's kind of terrifying once you understand.

Just in japan, with those (LS) initials, they have worked five hundred and ten people to death. Imagine how much higher the toll must have been without the specifics.
