the Travelers kind of look to me like the Undersider's dark fun house mirror reflection, coming to warm them of what they could turn into, Ghost of Christmas future style. Evil dopplegangers (hey Noelle can do exactly that !!!)

Which is ironic bc, in terms of personal morals, the Travelers are probably definitely better people than the Undersiders. They're not villains on purpose for fun and profit. They have pretty much Normal People senses of ethics (most notably marissa more than the others, but ill come back to that another day), which makes sense bc they were a fucking high school gamer group !! They are not from comic book world. But their actual actions are a million times more gruesome and immediately violent, all unwittingly

I think Krouse and Taylor are similar in a lot of ways, specifically regarding them being the center of like. Ire and drama and heartbreak in their respective teams. But where Taylor is loyal to a larger cause (being her definition of a good person, persuing a greater good no matter how many Bads she has to commit to get it), Krouse does the unforgivable of being loyal to a person he hurt. Its cool because from Madison onwards, he is eternally paying for a wrong he can never right, unable to live up to the expectations of what he needs to be to fix it.

And its more evident in how krouse is in his heart a certified impish shit-stirrer, but by the time we get to him in canon he's so bogged down by the unforgivable weight of his crimes against his friends on his shoulders that he comes off Different

I know they're not very marketable bc they're socially inadept freaks who's lack of typical communication or snappy dialouge make them hard to shove into the Fandom Ship Roles, because they have chemistry DEEPER than that. But i feel like those who get it would Get it you know !!! I mean look at those poor fuckers over on arcane, they're shipping Sevika and Mel! Wolfspider can provide !!!
