People often see a sparkle in his eyes as he bosses, manages, and oversees the entire project. ── .✦ He has a passion for making sure each animation project is as flashy as possible. The poor animators and compositors have a lot of work cut out for them, especially with Tengen looming over them as they work. ── .✦ His charismatic nature makes him perfect for not only managing staff, but also when on the phone with television networks and the like. Though some workers overhear him…passionately, raising his voice over the phone within his office. ── .✦ When things get really hectic, his wives sometimes step in to help out. ── .✦ Hinatsuru will assist with managing resources, budgets, and timelines. Makio tends to step in when any challenges arise in the production process. And lastly, Suma does her best to facilitate clear communication amongst the teams. ── .✦ He really appreciates his wives in times like those. The four of them have each other's backs, and he couldn’t be more grateful. ── .✦ Tengen is truly in his element when he begins sound editing for the production. His experience in the music industry really comes in handy here. ── .✦ The man gets absolutely giddy coming up with unique ways to make sound effects for scenes. He understands the impact each scene should have, ensuring the sound enhances the emotions the animation evokes. ── .✦ He is an absolute WHIZ at sound editing and mixing. The software is his weapon, and he is the meister masterfully handling them. ── .✦ He gets a bit pissy when he receives feedback that tells him to “tone it down.” It has to be flashy!

ᖇEᑎGOKᑌ KYOᒍᑌᖇO:

── .✦ Storyboard Artist ── .✦ Rengoku plays a key role in driving the production forward, lighting the way with his inspiring sequential art. ── .✦ When he was a child, he was pretty fond of his father’s storyboards and aspired to be just like him one day. Even when his father quits and becomes cynical of the career, Kyojuro never stopped wanting to step into the role of a storyboard artist. ── .✦ As the storyboard artist for Kimetsu Animation, he works closely with Gyomei. After all, it is his job to make the gentle giant’s story come to life. ── .✦ He is an honest man, so he doesn’t hesitate to voice any confusion or feedback to Gyomei when they work on the story. The jovial man can be very blunt in his approach, but Gyomei knows he means well. After all, Rengoku is a passionate man, making sure he adapts the script just as Gyomei envisioned. ── .✦ The fiery man has the ability to pump out shots at a rapid pace. While most argue quality over quantity, his storyboards have quality AND quantity. In fact, his shots are exceptionally more detailed than typical storyboards are. ── .✦ Each shot could be a full illustration on its own. They are THAT clean and beautiful. ── .✦ He just gets so invested when drawing the story; he can’t help it. In the end, it is a huge help later in production as it gives the animators so much to work off of. Leaving less room for mistakes and misinterpretations. ── .✦ Everyone in the studio truly respects him for his optimism, skill, and profound sense of duty to the craft. ── .✦ He has mentored several people in the studio, most notably Mitsuri and Tanjiro. His teaching methods are draining, as he ensures they give it their all, just like he does. But the results prove worth it, as their lines become more precise and consistent. ── .✦ As his mentees discover their passions, he finds himself extremely happy and proud of them. Even when they don’t pursue storyboarding like he does, he just wants them to find pride and joy in their work. ── .✦ Outside of working at his desk, he is commonly found in the break room. He spends his break indulging in the homemade bentos his little brother made for him. If there is anyone in need of seeing him, all they have to do is follow the muffled shouts of him praising his food.

TOᗰIOKᗩ GIYᑌᑌ:

── .✦ Technical Director and Video Editor ── .✦ The technical team has some powerhouse members, but it is still severely understaffed. This results in Giyuu taking on most of the work himself. ── .✦ He overworks himself a lot. Staff who pass by his station always see him working after hours, sometimes while sick, glued to the blinding light of his computer screen. ── .✦ After all, he has to make sure that the software is functioning correctly for the animators and layout artists. ── .✦ When providing technical support to colleagues, he is short and to the point. He is very efficient, but comes off harshly with his comments. He can get sassy with his remarks, which don’t help him either. ── .✦ Most of his colleagues don’t interact with him unless necessary. Many of them are put off by his reserved and standoffish nature. Sanemi and Obanai especially don’t like him, finding his “I’m not like you” attitude infuriating. ── .✦ However, his comments are never meant to be arrogant; instead, they’re always delivered in a pessimistic tone. Giyuu can’t help but feel less than his coworkers. ── .✦ Let’s be honest, Giyuu has a severe case of imposter syndrome. He firmly believes that he doesn’t deserve his position and that his childhood friend, Sabito, would be better suited for it than he is. The two of them studied together, but Sabito had to give up on the opportunity due to an accident. Giyuu often compares himself to Sabito; after all, Sabito is someone he deeply admires. ── .✦ He is often pestered by Shinobu, who stops by to pester chat with the stoic man. If it weren’t for her, he probably wouldn’t take breaks to eat. ── .✦ The poor man needs rest, a break, and some friends. ── .✦ When Tanjiro joined his team as an intern, he felt relieved to have more hands helping. He was fully ready to train the boy to be his successor. So, imagine his despair when Tanjiro found his hidden talent for another position. ── .✦ Wouldn’t openly show or say it, but he was gloomy when he found out. Give this poor man a break…

“Aaaah!!!” The hashira felt himself flinch as your shrill squeal ruptured his ears, “You're so cute, Kanzaburo! I want to take you home!”

Swiftly, he rounded the corner to the sight of you securely holding onto Kanzaburo, affectionately rubbing your face against his feathers. Naturally, the stoic pillar was stunned at the sight.

At least Kanzaburo was safe...?

After that occasion, the two of you would occasionally meet up. It gave you the chance to gush over your feathered friend while also helping Giyuu keep his kasugai safe.

In all honesty, Giyuu is relieved to have another set of eyes watching over his kasugai crow.

Kanzaburo's old age is always a cause for concern, especially with his habit of wandering off, mixing up messages, and the like. So having you around reassures him.

The shared bond over his beloved crow eventually led the two of you to get close to one another.

However, there has been more than one occasion of you blissfully admiring the elderly crow, oblivious to your surroundings.

Your little crow friend was once again wandering amidst the battlefield, completely drawing your attention. One shaky left leg forward, one shaky right leg forward... he is just too cute~!

As the last embers of the demon fade away, Giyuu's gaze shifts onto your unsuspecting forms. His eyes widen as a bloodthirsty figure closes in on your carefree selves.

He felt his heart rapidly pick up speed as he rushes to you. It took the water hashira several calls to get your attention. Until, finally, remember the position you're in, “Hey! Pay attention! Behind you! Hey!!”

"Oops! Sorry!"

Needles to say, he now has to be concerned for not only his crow, but you as well.

It is subtle, but Giyuu's face softens whenever he watches you gently correct Kanzaburo.

“The master… calls….” the corvid prattles on.

“Kanzaburo, Oyakata-sama's manor is the other way,” your hands create a little barricade in front of the teetering crow, “Come, come! This way.”

If you glance his way when doing so, you'll see a rather adorable smile on Giyuu's face as he looks at the two of you.

There are times when Kanzaburo sometimes mistakenly calls Giyuu by your name, and vice versa. His sight definitely deteriorating with age.

The hashira corrects him each time, but deep down, his heart flutters at the error.

It shows Giyuu just how much Kanzaburo appreciates your company, to the point of seeking you out. And much like his kasugai crow, he too enjoys your presence.
