Shouting into the void, because I can. I've been considering making an AO3 acct to work on writing occasionally, just as a way to get some ideas out of my head and have fun/do something useful when I inevitably go through another bought of insomnia instead of scrolling. What project should I work on first?

We had some predator kills on the back fields lately, so there was a whole committee of vultures in the balm of Gilead trees by the pond. There were also about 4-5 ravens that came in to check it out for a bit, but I didn't get good video of them. Watch till the end for some nice fly-bys. Sorry about the audio.

And yes, I will probably go scavenge a few good bones in a couple weeks once the birds have cleaned up most of it.

At the county fair there was a section in the art exhibits called the art of prevention, I got the impression it was art therapy stuff made by folks who are suicidal or recovering addicts. Some really cool mixed media stuff, but I think this one was my favorite. Not sure what it's about, but it's got some emotion wrapped up in it for sure.

...also the furry snake thing looks an awful look like aeschylus from feast for a king, or some other worm.

Totally normal for a legitimate for-profit company to refuse to reclaim or stop running their products even after they're no longer being paid to do so. I'm sure it's very normal to just keep running your service for free when your contract's been terminated. Spending money to continue running cameras that supposedly no one is looking at is definitely not an indicator they are just run by the federal government to spy on everyone and only a wacko conspiracy theorist would think so.
