Hey Angst Writers!
So Limited Life is over, but Iāve still got brain thoughts! Feel free to use these concepts to the detriment of our collective mental health!
The lightning of a final death doesnāt actually strike. It emanates from the persons body as they vanish, and the electricity lights up their nervous system. The area around where the person died smells like ozone, and crackles with static.
If a player were to actually reach 00:00:00 they would hear the crash of thunder and watch as their clock ticked up, 00:00:01. (Based on the fact nobody actually timed out of the series via countdown.)
To go with the last one, death is either impossible or not permanent if their clock is ticking up, and theyāre now stuck in that world. All red name bloodlust is gone, just horrible realizations.
When a players curse āactivatesā it feels like strings weaving through their body, pulling them into position/towards āthe inevitableā.
There are still residual effects from double life, players will occasionally get small spikes of their previous soulmates adrenaline/pain. Itās never enough to do damage or be particularly noticeable beyond mild anxiety and discomfort. It could also get stronger based on proximity (closer yes, but I think farther could also be interesting).
