Bruce, picking up Jason’s ringing phone while his son is in the kitchen: Hello?

Roy: Hey—! You’re not Jaybird.

Bruce: No.

Roy: Bruce. Why do you have Jay’s phone?

Bruce: Jason is in the kitchen. I can bring the phone to him, but I doubt he’ll appreciate being distracted.

Roy, sighing: Yeah, he can be a real snob with cookin’.

Bruce, humming: Anything I can help you with, Roy?

Roy: Uh. Tell ya what, yeah, actually. I need some files from Jay about a drug ring he was following up on, they might be infiltrating underground gangs here in Star.

Bruce: I can help. If you’re organising a bust, is Lian being taken care of?

Roy: Yeah, I already asked Kori to mind her.

Bruce, satisfied: Perfect. She’s welcome to bring her to the Manor.

Roy, slightly suspicious of the goodwill but won’t complain: I’ll pass it on.

Bruce: Clark.

Clark: B! Nice to see you. How’s your day been?

Bruce: Good enough. How’s Conner?

Clark, frowning: Fine, last I checked. He hasn’t been at the farm in a while, but I saw him a few days ago.

Bruce: Hn. You might want to check in on him.

Clark: Is he alright?

Bruce: Physically, yes. He seems to be stressing an abnormal amount, though. Returning to parents’ farm might be beneficial for him.

Clark: He’s not the type to stress for too long.

Bruce: No.

Clark: I’ll check on him, I’m sure Ma and Pa miss him. Thanks, B.

Bruce: Just go.

Bruce checks his phone a few hours later to see a text message from Tim reading ‘i know you did something. thx, b’.

Bruce: You’re welcome to stay the night, Jon. It’s late.

Jon: Huh? Oh, no, it’s fine Mr. Wayne. I can just fly back. My parents will be expecting me.

Bruce: No need, I have already informed Clark that you’re staying.

Jon: ???

Bruce: Dinner will be ready in 10.

Jon: ?????

Bruce: Damian is waiting in the dining room. Have a nice evening.

So most of the batfam is just....not used to it.

Duke: metropolis isn't really that far anyways, plus Bruce said you're not driving with that broken Arm. Do you have plans with Jon today?

Damian: no, I just miss him.

Duke, back at the manor: and that's what he said before Superboy just flew in and Picked him up from where he's standing.

Wally knows full well what he's doing

That, but with both Peter Parker and Danny Fenton, ending up in Gotham. For Peter, it’s right after the events of no way home, and everyone has already forgotten him. For Danny, it’s either in the ultimate enemy timeline, and clockwork is trying to avoid Dan, or its after a reveal gone wrong where Danny shut down the portal(otherwise he wouldn’t want to leave Amity) and Clockwork promptly decided to place him with Peter.

Now, these two dumbasses are having a blast. Especially if you have the age gap where Peter is 17-18 and in senior year while Danny is 15-16 in Freshman or sophomore year.

Bonus points if they both have their own Wayne who they don’t know is a Wayne best friend. Peters is Tim and Duke, like in Cannon, and I feel like Danny is best friends with Damian or Cass.

If we want to go where Danny doesn’t want to be another vigilante, he could be Peter’s guided chair. I think he would like that.

Additional angst: it’s after a bad reveal au, and the way the Batfamily meets Danny is when one night, after Peter has missed school, Nightwing goes to the roof where he normally meets Peter, only to find Peter with a obviously not fully human friend, who is bleeding green and trying to reassure Peter he is OK. Have them think the reason Peter hasn’t come to stay with them is not out of sadness, or cried, but loyalty. 

Dick: So?

Dick: When were you going to tell me you’ve slept with my mom

Bruce: Well… it didn’t really seem pertinent at the time

Bruce: It was also years and years before we met, before you were a concept, and a one-night stand, so…

Bruce: Not the best thing to bring up to a grieving child

Dick: I can’t believe this

Bruce: I’m sorry

Bruce: If it makes you feel better, I had no inkling that you were biologically mine

Dick: I guess… It’s not the worst that I’m related to you… it’s kinda nice…

Dick: I’m still stuck on the fact that my mom cheated on my dad with you

Bruce: Well…

Bruce: I wouldn't call it cheating… since he was also there and a very, very willing participant

Dick, blank stare: …

Bruce: Hey! They were the ones who hit on me first!

Bruce: I was just minding my business when they called me pretty and decided to flirt

Bruce: I was a weak boy to compliments and lonely in a foreign country. What was I to do?

Dick, squinting: I don’t believe you

Bruce: We can get out the ouija board right now if you want, or I’ll call Constantine

Dick, utterly done and tired: You know what? I’m just gonna go scream into my pillow

Bruce, hesitant: Okay… love you
