"ohh but it'll take them longer to realize they're actually gay" i know my experiences aren't universal but like. if i wasn't ready to face my lesbianism then i was Not Ready, you could've eliminated every other label in existence and i still wouldn't have accepted it. if anything, the ability to try out different labels helped me learn about myself, explore the community, and accept that maybe not being straight wasn't so bad.
also lots of people identify as bi before realizing they are gay, lots of people identify as gay before realizing they're bi, lots of people identify as gay before realizing they're trans, etc etc etc!!! exploring and getting it wrong is a necessary part of the process!!! why is it so different for aroace identities?????

For the first time ever, I looked in the mirror and liked the reflection.
Even when i was a young ass kid I hated my reflection.
I hated every ounce of myself.
I literally never felt pretty.
I could always "stand to lose some weight"

But I stood in front of the mirror today and cried.
After such a long time of hating myself for god knows reasons I just liked the reflection.

I don't hate myself
As a Jewish person I ask- where is religious freedom for non-Christians in this new post-Roe era? Judaism tells us that our bodies are sacred and that life begins at birth. It tells us that a person should choose their own life when a pregnancy is endangering them. Some of us even believe that in life-endangering circumstances, abortion is mandatory in order to save the parent's life. About 83% of American Jews support abortion being legal in all/most cases, more than any other religious group. Judaism tells us that we need to do everything we can in order to preserve our own lives.
Where's OUR religious freedom? Does the US Supreme Court truly value religious freedom, or just Christian freedom?
