Llorenc took another bite of his food rather than argue. A full mouth wasn’t enough to keep him from rolling his eyes and nodding along dutifully. The attitude filled behavior was dropped as he listened to her describe one of the worlds. Confusion settling over his face, he set his food down while the look seemed to grow before finally splitting into a smile. Laughing at the offer, he was right back to shaking his head, though far more amused about it.
“Sorry. I don’t think mmy brother would like me leaving the dimension. Just my luck I would get trapped there and then he’d be an upset mess for the rest of his life.” he waved off the entire notion with a negative sound. “No. I think I will stay in this dimension for the time being. However, if you ever want to show me around New York, it would be nice. I like having people to spend time with.”
Watching his facial expressions, she knew he thought the idea was ridiculous. The world might have sounded silly, but it was hard to do any other dimension justice by just describing it. It was something that had to be witnessed. “Well, the offer always stands... And if it helps, I haven’t lost anyone so far.” She chuckled, picking the vegetables out of her food and eating them. “New York? Why not. There’s plenty to see. Just let me know when you want to go.”

“About the same.” Casey handed Rikki the letter in her hand so she could read it over as well. Biting at her bottom lip, she sorceress tried to think of a solution. “Well... If I could figure out what spell he was using to block me... But he’s smart, talented... it could take weeks, even months.”
