YES A YANDERE STATICSILENCE/SILENTSTATIC AU- YES IT EXISTS....I mean it probably did exist before this one but hey if it's there one and now it's two :p
This AU's story is more narrow, including a few scrapped part's in normally canon show, like;
-Roise never owned Alastor's soul, two are close but Rosie is kind of worried about his "friendships" and the way he views it.
-His stay in the Hazbin Hotel reason is more close to pilot but with something extra, fun/protection.
-Husk, alongside with Niffty, is there too, mainly because of Alastor- just not as workers but fellow residents, like Angel Dust and Baxter, who been staying in the hotel for a year now.
- Hotel is no longer about redemption but about protection and safety for the sinners, who still struggling in Hell, most people still doesn't stick around because of Charlie's royal background, not exactly trusted her. Probably because her father's is the reason why Hell exists in the first place-and sin, and everything bad... maybe? Look he just wanted to give her a apple, how he could ever know that things would go this way? Give him a break.
-Vox and Alastor "meet" after Vox's raise...it wasn't a nice start, for Vox at least.
Alastor was more than satisfied.
Alastor is the most designed that I changed-a lot-lot, actually. At first he was more fancy, with a nice red coat and gold like yellows, going fully with his overlord aspect but I changed it after he looked more like a classic "rich asshole" in every media rather than a hunter with unhealthy obsession both for his hobby and people that unlucky enough to catch his eye, which was the vision I was going for him.
As I mentioned before, this version of him is more of a hunter than a deal maker; most of his accessories are "hand-made," mainly from materials "borrowed" from fellow sinners, like his puppets, who caged in his coat, never seeing the once familiar Sun unless their owner needs aid.
His coat is also where most of his powers lay, rather than his staff, since he never did a deal with Roise, let alone summoned her back he was alive. Also yea- the coat is a part of him like how his staff is in canon, he can still take it out, just can't be away from it, physically can't.
He also died later than his canon counterpart. (Let's say if canon Alastor died in his middle or late thirties, which is my headcanon for him, this one died in his early forties) Allowing him to be more mature about relationships and letting himself have friends and close ones, most wish he didn't ( *cough**cough* Vox and Husk*cough**cough*)
He also "disappeared" for seven years, thanks to certain someone...
This version of Husk is more... depressed tbh, consistently drinking the same booze provided/and specifically had made for him by Alastor just the coap with his circumstances, always feeling guilty and shame. After his fall, he used to stay in whatever motel was cheap enough to accept him at the time. Night to night, day to day, always hopping between places until his summoning to Hazbin Hotel. ( the cute spider guy is just a bonus)
There's not much I can say about his design, I changed his feet to be more bird-like, with a total of three fingers and claws.(same goes with his hands) I also kind of gave him something close to shoes, after all he needs them for all the hunting he does with his pal, Alastor. Made by Niffty ofc, like... Okey I lied, unlike his flight jacket. ( She just brought it as a gift)
The patch behind his back is inspired by nose art on the planes, from what I see from the reference, the art mostly includes women or random cartoon characters- so I went for a cartoonish cockroach, I mean the patch made by Niffty. It's obvious why.
Also I didn't forget about drawing his wings.
Yes the flight jacket and wink to the nose art is cruel, on my part, Niffty is innocent this time. She just thought it would help. And kinda did? I mean he likes the shoes-
And with this art, I must confess something; yeah the other two should have been as fancy as this one-but I just couldn't make them as good as hers. Just wasnt satisfied with them so I left them plain. Yknow- just gave up? I was working on three of them the same time and my frustrations with the other two unfortunately hit her too- I just gave up on text bubbles to explain stuff even though I was going pretty okay with her.
There's a lot of things that can be said about me... patient is not one of them π so sorry about that-
Anyway, Niffty is the most fun I had while redesigning for my AU, as you can guess- I just went all in for her. I already don't like her canon design, solely cuz of her weird dress thing. Seriously what's up with Hazbin Hotel and its lack of uniforms- look I know she is actually wearing her uniform but pls, be honest. Does it look like one? They should either stuck with her pilot design or actually come out something- anything, anything is better than girl's current fit, I am sorry π
Okey now that I take it out of my system; since most contexts are already in the art, I will just explain a few things that arent;
Husk and Niffty's realtships is bad, like bad-bad, only on Husk's side tho. At first, he doesn't fancy her after seeing her willingness to serve Alastor and seemingly very proud of her "work" and stuff done by them, unlike him; who keeps feeling guilty and "has" to drink at least ten bottles to look at his face in the mirror without wanting to throw up.
He either completely ignores her or forces himself to tolerate her. What makes things more difficult for him, even with her actions and close to no morals- she is still so nice to him.
Seeing him as a friend- to speak to her worries, coming to help when needed. Overall someone you normally would be more than glad to be associated with. With Angel's influence, he started to see her more like a fellow prisoner, like how he did with Angel at first. Struggling with the same things just reacting differently. Just surviving.
She is just not following Alastor blindly, only doing a good job at pretending, a thing he noticed after finally he stops ignoring everything around him.
Alastor has always kept tabs on Vox, but now that Vox is back, larger and actually confident, Al starts taking a more active role in monitoring him. In addition to starting and secretly forfeiting more battles, he crashes Vox and Val's fancy dinner dates, a shadow can sometimes be seen lurking around the edges of the stage whenever Vox makes a public announcement, and he makes increasingly harsh and always ignored jabs at Vox on his radio show. He tells himself that his new desire to be around Vox and regain his attention is just because Vox must be up to something, it must all be an act, no way Vox has given up on his Alastor obsession and learned to love and accept himself.
Meanwhile Vox is having the time of his life. His ratings are massive, he's stopped giving a shit about what other people think of him, and his relationships with Val and Velvette are better than ever. He sees Alastor's actions as the final, pathetic attempts at maintaining relevance by a man irretrievably entrenched in a dying medium and stuck in the past, and it just boosts his confidence further. He's ecstatic every day, Val doesn't ever sleep with anyone else anymore now that they're publicly an item and has eyes only for him, Velvette has designed a whole new clothing line for him and started using plus size models, and for the first time in his existence, he's finally satisfied with himself and his life and doesn't feel like he needs more.

Vox having his suicidal-homicide meltdown were all assuming this was the point Alastor goes "oh he's less predictable than I thought he's no longer safe to play with" BUT HEAR ME OUT
Vox hitting this point flips the script. He's on the edge, he's psycho, he's no longer playing it safe, or for kiddie games, he was willing to sacrifice everything for Alastor and a single end goal -
And Alastor isn't repelled by that - He's captivated by it - it triggers his own obsession with Vox, it uno-reverses the yearning.
He's no longer being non-chalant and acting indifferent or avoiding unless he's ragebaiting - he's walking the border of the Vees territory almost constantly. He finds every camera in Hell and makes sure they're on him at all times, he's no longer blurring himself for any of them including the drones. He kidnaps a drone and actually takes it back to the hotel. He's finding ways and excuses to get close to VeeTower. He saves Voxs body and memorizes every little component in it and how it works. He's going to overlord meetings insisting EVERY overlord must attend not just a "representative" so Vox has to look at him at least weekly.
Because now Vox isn't just some puppy-eyed plaything, now he's actually threatening, now he's actually interesting.
OUT with super cool aloof Alastor who doesnt give a shit about Vox and nothing that happened in the V tower got to him
IN with Alastor who got hurt by the breakup worse than Vox did _because_ he knows it's all his fault. Alastor who thought nothing would get to him but it did anyway. Alastor who is trying to project super cool and aloof so hard he's failing to notice the cracks obvious to everyone else.

Pretty sure I reblogged this WAYYYY back but like- I wanted to reblog it again bc I just finished watching Gravity Falls and I'm lowkey into this ship, especially with how GOOD the art is-
I wonder if Al will be like- a bit more cautious with Vox too in season 3, like I assume Vox will be too, especially physically. But like- Al almost got blasted by heavenly power cause of Vox. Vox actually tried to kill him and almost did. If I was Alastor, I would be kind of hesitant rising to anything Vox threw at me. Maybe even offended cause Vox actually tried to finish him off. Tilted I suppose. So maybe Vox will try to avoid Alastor cause he is just a head now and even if he does get a body, he's afraid to be too touchy at the moment. And maybe Alastor will avoid all of Vox's cameras and not rise to any of Vox's confrontations.

I assume maybe their relationship will quiet down season 3 and they will be more cold to each other. But I predict Vox may actually join the hotel at the end of season 3, beginning of season 4 and THAT'S where the radiostatic will build off of each other and learn more about one and another.
