Certainly, his schemes get away from him. But really, he just needed to process everything, and that’s why everything in the MCU has turned out so badly. If Thor hadn’t been banished, if Odin hadn’t fallen asleep and left him regent...if he had been given time to come to terms, to think things through, to develop schemes, plots and mischief that were in character...

I saw a gifset about how Tony might be a better embodiment of Cap’s values in CA:CW than Steve is. I wanted to show how, at least for me, Steve still represents those values.
