Watching QSMP from Ashswags perspective is so strange to me, when I realise that he’s the only character with his head set on straight at all times.
Consistently hated the Feds, always knows why people are doing things and calls them out, doesn’t blame people when it’s all the Feds orchestrating everything, accepts people leaving the Regime and still wants to be their allies, actively wants to help protect the North from Aldo, it’s so weird to see all the other cubitos do anything because Ash is so level headed, everyone else looks stupid.
Watching Tina, Juan and Foolish not listen to his warnings about the dangers of the bunker feels so much worse now, but he was so fed up with them, holy. My ass would’ve abandoned them as soon as I heard that Juan didn’t bring golden apples with him, like what are we doing.
Seeing clips of Katie’s chat arguing over whether to trust Ash or Multi is so odd to me, because I feel like Ash is extremely open about everything, so I wonder how people think he’s lying??? I’m honestly just really curious, because Multi is so unbelievably evil and Katie’s chat already had their character development in hating to liking Ash after Katie joined the Regime and he was immediately nice to her.
Also, there’s no way people are saying that Ash hasn’t done anything for Katie. If I was Ash, if I had told Katie about the Feds killing my daughters, and she doesn’t break up with her boyfriend? I would kick her out and kill her, like what?? I love Katie’s character, she’s so complex, but gang it unfortunately isn’t a close decision with who’s the evil one.
It sucks because she’s developed this family after the Sibling Trio was made, so it’s much harder to sympathise with her about it. I could at least agree with Tomate, but FNG… the guy who you saw sexually harassing your younger brother, you adopted????
Katir somehow has the best and worst judgment. She has the two best brothers, but the worst co-parent and bestie. Also, did her chat forget that Ash is stuck with Ewron? He literally has the keys to his kid, if we aint blaming Katie for sticking with Multi, we can’t blame Ash.
Also, it’s so funny how everything that involves Katie that she thinks Ash is in on, he actually isn’t. He doesn’t know Dark Cucurucho, he calls out Ewron all the time, the guy just doesn’t listen to him. Ash never lies, he just doesn’t tell people things because he doesn’t want to get people in danger, or with Katie, he wants to respect her life so he doesn’t want to talk shit about Multi to her.
I fear people need to start learning the lore for the other cubitos, I cannot believe this is a problem we are having. In QSMP 1, we were locked in on every POV, in Q2 people don’t even know the details about why Ash hates the Feds. The concept of Ash working with the Feds is the funniest misconception ever, he literally escaped from them before the events of Q2, he wants them all dead.
Also, do people actually not know that Ash is canonically a Fed experiment??? It’s not even a theory, it’s confirmed. I’m more curious on why people are making Katie and Don experiments too????
ALSO WE NEED MORE DON AND ASH WITHOUT KATIE LIVE PLEASE WE ARE SLEEPING ON THEM!!!! In the past couple of days, it seems like they’ve realised that themselves with Don joining the Regime, and showing up first to comfort Ash after Juan’s death.
The fact that Juan died, and Katie will still be conflicted, but I hope her character chooses Nacho and her brothers, but not Multi, that bitch needs to go, along with Aldo and Roier, who is also here?
I hope she keeps her character teetering in both sides before making the right one, she just needs to remember how crazy it is that Ash lets her get away with anything, including co-parenting Cucuruchos child with Multi, genuinely his biggest opps. Just the fact that he still considers her in the Regime and his big sister even after is insane and should be noted because it’s wild.
