I’m just feeling really sad about interest/fandoms/etc that I’ve either grown out of, lost my passion for or had ruined for me in one way of the other.

I tend to really personalize my interests, I get really passion about them and they feel almost like a part of me at times. So when I lose that feeling of being into something, I feel like I’m losing parts of myself? Or I mourn the love I used to have for a piece of media and get sad that things don’t feel the same anymore

This is especially difficult for media that I don’t just lose interest in but end up either disliking, hating or just feeling very uncomfortable around.

It usually happens when I find out something about the creator of the media (be it a musical artist, author, etc) and my brain just attaches something I used to love with something that makes me feel sick. (Not saying that ppl can’t have separation from the media and the ppl who made it, it’s just hard for me specifically to do that)
