Artwork I created for The Junkie Twins (@thejunkietwins) for their new single “Virtual Anxiety.” I used a mix of felt tip pen, watercolor and digital techniques. 

We've all been spending a lot of time on our phones, especially this year as a way to connect. But I also resonate with the darker parts of what too much screen time does to my mental health, and taking a break is needed. This song reminds me of this although it can be interpreted in so many ways!

If we don’t let go of this attachment it could ultimately destroy us – but who are we? And what part of “we” does our ego play? Idolism [unfinished] conjures a never ending stream of questions to ponder, conversations to have with anyone who has spent a good chunk of time crafting an identity on social media. I'm naturally sensitive but I've been feeling the collective energy a lot lately and it's been heavy. So heavy my every day tools have not been enough. So I was inspired to spend a week taking care of myself even more and I hope these tips help you reconnect to yourself to whenever you feel out of control.
