even if she doesn't "try to pass" she still deserves the same basic respect you give everybody else.

yes because i purposefully chose one that has japanese roots and it happens to have like... zero english words that it sounds like?

jun does not rhyme with anything and its vowel sound doesn't really match any vowel sounds in english because japanese is a lot... sharper? than english? that doesn't sound like the right word but whatever.

mostly i get either june or jun (rhymes with "run"), and on rare occasion, "john"

It's typically mispronounced by white people or people who may not be familiar with any other language. But I usually tell them that it's pronounced kind of like "cheerio" but with an L then the pronunciation is pretty much corrected. But my chosen first name isn't very common which I like :)

"Maultasche" translates to "mouth bag".

Though the more polite term for "mouth" is "Mund".

"Maul" is used in certain dialects as the regular word for human mouths, but in Standard German it's usually only used for animal mouths or when you want to tell someone to shut up ("Halt's Maul").

⬆️ Kind of like how in Spanish, the standard word for mouth is "boca" and "hocico" refers to an animal's mouth/snout, and sometimes when someone wants to tell someone to shut up, they could either say "¡Cállate la boca!"(Shut your mouth!) or "¡Cállate el hocico!" which also means shut your mouth but can be interpreted as having a more vulgar/rude tone. Kind of like the difference between saying "shut up" and "shut the fuck up" in English.

Turns out I have a list for that. It's old and I wrote it for my husband forever ago. But it still might help.

Priority:

Social security

License/I.D.

Birth certificate (requires a fee; I paid $50 for mine)

Bank info including account name and credit cards

Medicaid card (or any medical card. This was for my personal record.)

Employee info

IRS info for filing taxes (may change on its own)

Billed accounts like T-Mobile or utilities (or whatever cellphone or internet service you use.)

Mailing information

Less important:

College info (both borrower account if a loan was taken out and name on file for transferring credits)

High school (in case a transcript is needed for college) - may not be allowed; I couldn't get mine changed

Credit cards

Voice mail (no one thinks of this)

PayPal and other similar accounts

Email

Subscription accounts like Netflix

Websites that require a real name, like Facebook

Anyone can add on whatever I missed!

Edit: I wrote "less important" but it's more like just lower priority. All of it is important!

the same one that's between sex and sexual assault/rape. Consent.

Is it consensual? is it not coerced consent? if yes, then it's literally not an issue.

Is it weird for some people? maybe. There are lits of things that are "weird" to me, that's normal. Disgust is an emotion we need to learn to convive with.
