RONAN is an 322 year old HETEROSEXUAL, MALE, HE/HIM, here in Firebrand City. People say they look a lot like NICHOLAS HOULT. They are SMART but can be COWARDLY. They are a (LIGHT) FAE SUPERIOR in Firebrand and work as a HIVE ARCHITECT.
BIOGRAPHY:
Ronan was raised like most faes of his hive, happy and at peace with the earth.
While most faes either had a knack for combat or gardening, Ronan was a creative type, preferring to test his abilities to control nature to warp the very tree homes they lived in.
While most fae’s homes were uniform and generally neat, Ronan’s was always janky looking and strange from his attempts to change its appearances. No one ever really minded since it was just his thing but Ronan eventually gained a knack for remodelling homes and began doing up other fae homes with certain features to make things more interesting.
With his creativity and experience, the fae council soon hired him to be their hive planner, handling the architecture and streets.
When the Auburn forest was attacked, Ronan had little option but to hide while those stronger than him fought. His parents were also both light fae so they focused on taking care of the forest and getting as many away from the battle as possible. Perhaps it was a cowardly way to approach things but it kept Ronan and his parents alive long enough to witness the complete destruction of their home.
While most faes took it as a loss, Ronan was able to see the tiny silver lining. With the forest gone, he would have an opportunity to rebuild their hive into something better. The integration with Firebrand and modern technology unlocked endless potential to improve their hive’s infrastructure and he was excited to get started.
Because of the large task ahead of him, Ronan tends to be very busy. He zooms from place to place, going to business meetings and sending reports to the fae council as need be.
Nevertheless, he always has time for his best friend, Queen Calliope.
Ronan had just aged out of sprite-hood when Princess Calliope was born. Being young, he didn’t really know what all the fuss was about. Still, they were too close in age not to be constantly grouped together.
It took a while for him to warm up to the snot-nosed little princess but she eventually became less snotty and more…sad.
Even as a child, he could see she was carrying a heavy weight on her shoulders and while he tried not to care, it was hard to ignore a little girl crying in a deserted part of the hive (near his secret treehouse).
It was then that he discovered how much he enjoyed making her smile and the pair only got closer. As their career paths diverged (and Callie became increasingly important), they saw less and less of each other, but there is always room on Ronan’s shoulder if Callie needed it.
