So it seems every time a Legends game comes out I must create an oc based on a very small group of people mentioned in the series. First it was Vicoa the Draconid descendent for Arceus, now it’s Alo the Celestica descendent. Whatever the next Legends game is, my thoughts now align to the someone of Scarlet’s/Violet’s alternate timelines for the Past/Future

Probably the same as they are in the modern nights. Just with more hands-on practices, using their disciplines to keep an eye on their surroundings and community with vermin or hiding in plain sight with obfuscate. I imagine the more physically imposing members still retained the role of muscle among the various courts they were a part of. Depending on the era, when they still counted among the “Low” clans they probably were seen as reliable hands and fists, though the full potential of their abilities wasn’t quite as appreciated depending on who they served, though of course that would likely lead to complications if you don’t show respect to those supporting you I would think.
Some of the more cautious members were probably still concerned about the Nictuku. Especially since the lack digital communication meant you needed to be more careful about sharing or transferring messages if you didn’t want your words being taken by the wrong person and compromising your security. While Nictuku could probably still use internet, their isolation makes it less likely, but in old days when it was still messages via letters and animals, they’d probably be a bit more capable of finding things out and continuing their hunts on their brethren.

honestly the impact of frustration is seriously underestimated. like as an emotion i think it's not seen as intense as anger or despair or even joy or excitement. and yet being frustrated is the quickest route to meltdown. for me at least. there's something about how it's just got nowhere to go that makes it so overwhelming and unpleasant. and it gives you just contradictory responses to the situation can do you keep trying, do you get angry, do you cry and get upset do you throw up like what
My teachers called frustration "a mild term for anger and helplessness combined." Those are not minor feelings on their own, I'm not sure why people speak as though they soften each other when it's more of a coke and mentos situation.
The irony of the vaults is knowing they were never meant to save anyone since most were glorified and horrific lab experiments conducted by Vault-Tec.
And yet, despite that, through the actions of the protagonists they ended up saving quite a lot of the post-war nuclear wastelands.

It still irks me that the Get of Fenris were turned antagonist in 5th edition Werewolf, and we all know why: because their cannon lore involves some of the tribe siding with Nazis.
That's like saying all of GERMANY is evil because they were led by the Nazis. That's not ignorance, that's belligerent, deliberate ignorance. Especially since the lore goes out of it's way to explain that this behavior is not officially tolerated in the tribe, and members who do are often slain, especially by American Get.
Meanwhile, we've got the Red Talons who are genocidal maniacs who have in lore rites about skining humans and hanging them from pine trees on the solstice, and they get a free fucking pass, instead of falling to the Wyld.

I think more fantasy fiction should use curse tablets. They were often made out of lead but you could also make them out of gold, wood, or clay.
The basic idea behind an Ancient Greek or Roman curse tablet is that you buy the tablet from a holy spot like a temple or spring and then you write a message to the god of that location asking them to curse someone.
Curse tablets could be hung on temple walls, thrown in holy springs or lakes, or tied to trees.
You could have rivers or lakes glittering with golden curse tablets, metal or wooden curse tablets swaying in the breeze in a sacred grove and bumping into each other like wind chimes, a giant bulletin board on the side of a temple covered in curse tablets that essentially becomes a petty anonymous callout board.
If gods are characters in your world you could show them invisibly or otherwise going through their curse requests. Fishing them out of their river, reading the message board, etc.
You can also go with prayer tablets or paper or ribbon prayer notes like what people post at Shinto or Buddhist shrines but those are too sweet and nice. Curse tablets can cause drama. Hatred. Curse the bitch who stole your towel at the sacred baths. Just like the ancients used to do.
I want to see an increasingly annoyed deity sorting through the tablets, with two huge piles representing two locals who've been arguing for a year and a half
