After taking some time to think things over, rather than locking this sideblog and leaving without explanation like I'd originally planned, I've decided to leave it up for now but on indefinite, thought most likely permanent, hiatus.
Unfortunately, the GW2 fandom is no longer a place I feel safe in or experience the same joy interacting with as I once did. I'm not alone in feeling the fandom at large is no longer as welcoming, loving and or understanding as it was a few years back. My last straw, as well as five other friends', was due to friendship tensions that turned into full blown fandom drama, dividing a large group of individuals and ostracizing my closest friend.
While I no longer wish to have a GW2 dedicated sideblog, I'll still be posting and reblogging related content to my main @marrowy from time to time. The game and story of GW2 means too much for me to drop entirely, and to the 600+ of you who stuck around with me for the 6 or so years I've been here, thank you! I'll see you out there.
