Zhaitan Did Nothing Wrong

Concept art from this new article about GW3's playable races. I had previously assumed that these ancient asura would be hairy all over, but (if this concept art is accurate to the finished product) it looks like they only possess some extra hair on their ears. Neat. (Though, on a closer look, it kinda looks like there is also hair on this asura's shoulders, but it's hard to tell.)

Don't have much to say about the kodan, aside from the fact that they look cool and I'm definitely gonna make one.

I like how chopped the human guy looks. I really hope that we will have the option to make 'ugly' faces like this, especially for female characters. In GW2, I really dislike how female asura don't have a face option with scars or torn-up ears, like the male asura do. GW2's female asura hairstyles are also overwhelmingly 'prim and proper' in my opinion. Female humans also lack faces that don't look like a Barbie, and all of their body type options have a thigh gap.

I wonder what the mysterious 4th race will be...

The article also stresses that these are the races that will be available on launch. Pretty much confirming that they plan on releasing more races down the line. So, who knows, maybe the Charr are saved after all.

He *hates* her, he hates her so goddamn much and wishes he was being whipped in a prisoner's mine rather than be mocked by her 'sweetness' - and the only reason he lets her bed him is because she carved significant debt off his billet every time so he grit his teeth and let it happen.

She's in hysterics when she finds out he hated her. She thought she was better at reading people than that, and the very thought she twisted his arm into it makes her want to vomit. She's penned dozens of letters of apology that she couldn't finish and instead chucked into the fire.

He's making tracks as far as possible from her the second she's released his billet. He has to train himself to relax once he feels his own silk sheets and feather mattress underneath him. His clenched jaw from those nights turns into a bad habit of grinding his teeth and biting his tongue.

The Legionnaire of the Faith warband (Ash), she's got an IQ to put most Asuran geniuses to utter shame and the handiness with machinery to match it. She's her warband's weaponsmith and handycharr, but by and large keeps to herself and rarely speaks. Her mate, Commander of the Pact Iris "Rabbit" Leapfaith, is the only one she speaks to regularly; Rabbit reports that she has a quiet whispery voice and uses a blunt yet bold vocabulary. She is part-skritt, however for most people this is just a rumor - her warband knows better and has met her mother, a savvy rogue-like character named T'chi'ra with a particular knack for hotwiring Asuran golems and Iron Legion vehicles and getting anything to start working again if she wills it.
