There is a reason a Goddess only displays Her full divinity to Her dedicated followers or those particularly chosen. To any mortal off the street such a display of power and presence is like their very soul sighting its predator. Many would simply run. But some mortal souls are already cracked, a little hole bored wider to receive Her words then blessings then visions. Without its protective shell that soul will have no where to run, no time to react. When She grants you presence of all that She is it pours right in to your mortal shell and eats away at what you were leaving only what is Her's. You become an extension of Her and Her divinity drips from the hole you opened in yourself to accept Her. A soul never grows back, but She is a beautiful replacement

One of my deeper and a little embarrassing fantasies is being so comfortable and nice to be around that it makes someone dependent on me.
