Something i find interesting about Ed is that (spoilers for 2x06, 2x17, and 3x15)
During 2x06, Kristen calls Ed a psychopath (if im remembering correctly) and he gets VERY defensive/aggressive about it, and the same thing happens again in 2x17 when Jim also calls [the killer] a psychopath and Ed once again gets defensive because Jim is unknowingly talking about HIM and tells him its a strong word to be using.
However, in 3x15, when Lucius calls him a sociopath, he doesn't do that at all. he seems to almost agree with the assessment which implies he *knows* it's true/isn't denying it. Or maybe he just appreciates someone finally using the correct term, idk.
(also the way Ed just smiles after Lucius says he's killed six people and is, in fact a serial killer. he just smiles, no grinning or gloating or anything, just a smile and a nod. its oddly scarier than he is normally because he's just so calm about it.)
I have another comment to make but its s5 spoilers so i'll hold off on that for now
the fact that ed's settee/couch has arms made of rolled-up yoga mats is so funny to me, like what do you MEAN he just tied them to the chair instead of...getting a chair with arms instead.

so much of late-series WOT is rand thinking "i hope i can count on my friends to carry out the important tasks i assigned to them" smash cut to his friends miles deep in shenanigans on some fuck-ass sidequest not remotely related to their original task (though to be fair, USUALLY they did already complete the original task before the pattern dragged them off down some rabbithole)
