I feel like the whole world has let me down… All the people I considered my support are gone…

I'm not asking for mercy, nor empty sympathy…

I'm asking for a chance to rebuild my life, to regain my dignity, to restore the destroyed pharmacy, and to provide for four families.

So far, the fundraising campaign has only raised 435 euros… A small amount compared to the magnitude of the loss, but it's the only hope I have left. I am not a beggar…

My friend Ahmed from Gaza is 15 years old. He and his family live in a small, torn tent that does not protect them from the cold. They suffer from the terrifying sounds of bombing every day. Their situation worsens every day. They are suffering from starvation and eat only a small amount of unhealthy food. The UN Secretary-General on Monday took the “difficult decision” to reduce the aid operation inside the Gaza Strip following the resumption of deadly Israeli airstrikes – but pledged that “the UN is not leaving” the enclave. This comes after a UN site was targeted by Israel, killing a UN worker from Bulgaria and leaving six others with severe injuries.

“In the past week, Israel carried out devastating strikes on Gaza, claiming the lives of hundreds of civilians, including United Nations personnel, with no humanitarian aid being allowed to enter the Strip since early March,” said a statement released by his Spokesperson.

“As a result, the Secretary-General has taken the difficult decision to reduce the Organization’s footprint in Gaza, even as humanitarian needs soar and our concern over the protection of civilians intensifies.”

The UN stressed that it remained fully committed to providing lifesaving aid. Around a third of the approximately 100 international staff working in Gaza will be temporarily relocated.

I am being completely serious when I say that I will block anyone who reblogs or posts Eurovision content on my dash this year. Eurovision has banned Palestinian flags and explicitly sided with I*rael in what they call an effort to be "non-political."

This is what happened today (April 18) in the West Bank:

At dawn - Israeli soldiers launched a widespread operation in various parts of the occupied West Bank, breaking into homes, damaging Palestinian properties, and detaining at least 26 Palestinians, including two young women.

At day - The aggression continued as soldiers proceeded to assault Adli Rayyes and his son, Hashem, resulting in various injuries to both of them. Palestinian medics had to transport them to Jericho governmental hospital for treatment.

Afternoon - The Israeli Occupation Forces moved to the central West Bank where they entered the town Deir Ballout (west of Salfit city). There, they confiscated a telecommunications car that was being used for repair and maintenance work.

Evening - Dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded the Ein Al-Sultan refugee camp (north of Jericho). They stormed and ransacked homes within the camp and abducted a young man named Nayef Abu Dahouk, taking him to an unknown destination. At the same time an Israeli military jeep rammed into a young Palestinian woman in Jenin (northern West Bank). She was taken to the Jenin governmental hospital, and is currently suffering from fractures and severe bruising.

The Palestinian Detainees Committee reports that over 40 Palestinians were abducted by Israeli soldiers TODAY alone, from various parts of the West Bank, with a concentration of these abductions occurring in Nablus, followed by operations in Ramallah, Bethlehem, Jericho, Hebron, and Jerusalem.

Two homes belonging to Mohammad and Ahmad Zeidat, who have been kidnapped since January, in the town Bani Naim (near Hebron) were also demolished.

Over 8,310 Palestinians have been abducted by the Israeli Occupation Forces since October 7, 2023.
