Psychology is a huge topic and conveying the depth and breadth of the subject can be difficult. As a result, a number of different fields of psychology have emerged to deal with specific subtopics within the study of the mind, brain and behaviour.

When you teach a class or lead a discussion, participation is often easy for some people and hard for others.

A lot of us like things really intensely and want to talk about them all the time.

But not everyone wants to hear everything we know about trains, hats, elephants, Pokemon, or the Dead Sea Scrolls. Constant monologues tend to drive people away.

I had a very interesting discussion today with my classmates. One of them mentioned she wants to be a speech therapist… And proceed to complain that our Deaf teacher, who taught us the class called Deaf culture, is really biased.
