someone has to also correct miles on his terminology

This post explains the difference really well and provides the closest image to what Miles actually wears I've ever seen (a square scarf folded in a particular way). It only has two layers instead of the three Miles has but everything else fits 100%. Maybe Miles has a special kind of square scarf where one end separates into two creating three ruffle layers? I don't know if these square scarves fall under the definition of a cravat but it's certainly closer than a jabot. I wish I had screenshots of the scene where Shi-Long actually calls it a jabot in the game (I think it's one of the fail dialogues in I1-3) because Miles corrects him so the distinction is intentional.
