Dean. You asked “What about all this is real?” We are.

All jokes aside, can we just take a moment to appreciate that this is basically the first time Dean is seeing Cas, his Cas, the Cas he fell in love with, in almost two years. I mean Cas was God for a bit, and then he was a Leviathan, and then he was dead, and then he was Emmanuel, and then he was insane, and then he was in Purgatory for a year; and between all of that, Cas hasn’t really looked like himself in quite a while. But then he walks out of that bathroom and he looks like Cas again. The trench coat, the blue tie, neat(ish) hair, clean shaven, even the little smile. So of course Dean gets a little hot and bothered. That’s his angel right there. That’s his Cas. He hasn’t seen him like that in so long, and I bet there’s a part of him that thought he would never see him like that again. But there he is, standing in a motel room looking like he was ripped right out of one of Dean’s fonder memories.

dean was amazed to discover that when he was saying “i’ll go with you,” what he meant was, “I love you.”
