everyday hater

I’m in the project for at least two months and still feel like not knowing anything about it. And each day with each new understood line of code my ignorance becomes even bigger.

Almost everyday someone comes to me to get some new feature working or bug fixed and they assume that I already know fucking everything about this rotten code spaghetti with meatballs formed of shit. How am I supposed to know anything if there is no documentation and writing docs seems to be tabu here?

So most of the day I’m asking questions about how “this” and “that” works and after getting answers I want to scream: 

And this is not because this is not supposed to work this way. It is because everything is so complicated and complex that I do not imagine how it could fit anyone’s head. Apparently my team consists of people with such big heads they can fit anything.

The debian developers denied existence of real world for so long that its users started to deny possibility of new stable release. Or maybe only for sysdevs at my workplace jessie is still unstable:

I was not involved in this one but this is how almost every issue/pull request/discussion in my team looks like.

Issue priorities. They are fucking wrong on almost every issue tracker I have seen. The crown of nonsense of course belongs to Atlassian with their JIRA used by +35k companies.

Look at this list: bloker, critical, major, minor, trivial.

What the fuck is that supposed to mean? Does blocker means that something should be done as fast as possible because has the highest priority or it simply blocks other issue or someone's cock? Does critical means that we should probably grab fire hoses because our company is apparently on fire or it simply means that this task has a more importance than a major of our city?

What does trivial mean? It is this that trivial one line change that makes your code not working at all? Or is it something that nobody cares about?
