Had a pseudo karen moment earlier today (tbh completely justified and legit according to me my mom my friends AND the law but whatever) and im still waiting for the adrenaline to go down omg omg. I was made to speak with the manager which gave me the DIRECTOR OF IDK WHAT on the phone omg omg and i was there trying to hold myself together cause no i wont be gaslit about your own terms you made me sign only cause u thought u could change em and pretend i had alzheimer or something hhhhhhh

#i was part of a burger place's opening event where they gave uhmmm a year of free food from their shop for up to a certain amount weekly #and so today was the first time i went to get my ✨free✨food✨ etc and the cashier had several opinions ab how i was and want allowed to use #my food voucher #and it WASNT how it was written out in the rules id signed actually #so we had some back and forth #i decided that fuck him i was gonna be having my free nuggies one way or another and insisted till he got me a manager #who immediately washed his hands of me phoning the director of idk what and giving me the phone #and this director guy had the gall to try and gaslight me into believing the rules were different from what i remembered?? when i literally #have the pictures of the contract they ahd us sign cause i am nobody's fool BITCH?#anyways i told him i had proof as in pics and he changed strategy to “oh then it mustve been a typo in your specific paperd #cause the overall rules are x y z #and i was like bestie.... i aldo took pics of the rules as youd posted them on the shop's door the day of teh event.... theyre the same....#anyways ge kept trying to literally gaslighting me and he literally i swear said #the promotion was on x but we had to write y in the rules cause x wouldnt have been legally allowed....#then BUTCH MAYBE ITS NOT LEGAL TO HOLD ME TO IT?? perhaps???? hmmm????#i dont care ab your internal issues with your own rules you wrote and provided me #i only care you stand by what you had me sign. bitch.#and he insisted he wante dmy details to check cause again mybe my specific rules were diff from the rest #and i told him “man if my discount disappears by morning ill know whose fault it is ykno”#he: “well no i could never thats illegal you kno”#wELL ur not giving off trustworthy atm broski #considering u literally said the rules u wrote down r placeholder for another set of rules taht wouldve been illegal to write down fr fr #like whatttttt #anyways he said to get whatever i wanted today and on monday he wouldve sent notice to hold me to “the rules id signed no problem #mom keep joking that theybdeserve a class action #and the true issue was that i didnt want to get a burger but the nuggies #which werent included in the burger menu items #but were in the overall menu #which was why i insisted basically #but srsly it u do a promotion on sth i expect u to stand by ittttt omgggg is it too much to askkk
