I keep getting vague updates on the Garden Grove impending chemical spill and it’s like. Logistically, how the fuck is that possible? How is it possible that we’ve been watching a tank full of dangerous chemicals get closer and closer to exploding for the past 4 days and 50k+ people have been evacuated and NO ONE CAN FIGURE OUT A WAY TO PREVENT IT OR SOMEHOW CONTAIN IT???? Authorities are just spraying it with cold water and going “Oh shit. Oh shit.” like it’s Chernobyl all over again.
