Babe AO3 is a nonprofit. They do not exist under the ethics of capitalism. Fanfiction is legal because no money is ever exchanged around it. (All the money given to AO3 is used to maintain their servers and pay their lawyers to help keep fanfiction legal.)

I’ve been told the reason why these bots are doing this is due to copyright infringement issue where they’re trying to steal your works (possibly to train AI but this is just a guess) ‼️‼️‼️and once you deleted your fics, it will be either very difficult or impossible for you to claim ownership of your own fics when they were already deleted.‼️‼️‼️

so if you get a comment telling you you should “delete your works to protect your account because AO3 is doing blah blah blah” report that comment. don’t delete your works.

Now he’s apparently an abstract artist having a crisis instead of gasping for breath “…when the doors to his office creamed open.” I don’t even know what this sentence is supposed to mean… it was supposed to say creaked.

“She grinned, leaving over his shoulder.” I don’t think that’s physically possible. Also, what does that even look like? It was supposed to say leaning.

“I can’t loose you.” Wow. Yeah, nothing says eternal love like threatening to accidentally set you free. It was supposed to say lose, obviously.

"Couldn’t think through the searing pane that threatened to swallow him whole" Oh wow. He’s not grieving. He’s not in pain. He’s being consumed by a very aggressive WINDOW.

"Her laugh was small and brittle, her hearth thumping painfully in her chest." OH WOW. She’s not in love. She’s not in physical and emotional pain. She’s got a whole fireplace lodged in her ribcage instead of her heart.
